I am by no means trying to take anything away from the Riverdale team because they are good and are well coached. But I don't understand why people seem to think that Coffee Co is so weak or unable to beat them or anyone else in the state. They too have quiet a bit of talent. So I guess we will see when it gets started and in May who is doing what.

Your absolutely right Coffe Co does have most of their starters back, but they are stil weak. Yes they shocked the softball world by beating Riverdale last year, but this is a whole new year...

Yes its a whole new year, and Coffee is much better than they were last year. Everybody's back from last years team that was supposed to be just mediocre, but they will silence all the doubters.

It's the same old song and dance.....Coffee co. this and Coffee Co. that. We here the same thing every year, "got all the players back"........"much better than last year"...... "wear your red".... ya da ya da ya da. If you have all the same players then you're in trouble again because the state runs through Soddy Daisy. Wear your red!!!

Coffee County you shouldnt have such a chip on your shoulder, we all know how hard your girls work and we all know how much of your heart and soul you put into all the sports you play. You have a great team.

You have the same chance as everybody else. Riverdales picked more often to win because of their pitching and their past record and because of their coach.

Work to play more consistently well and others will start believing in you too. It is not who you beat ONE time, it is how you perform over the course of a season.

Terry is a great coach too, you'll get there.

    • West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.
    • I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.
    • I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!
    • Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
    • Looks like Trent Noah was released from his NLI at South Carolina with intent to pursue playing closer to home. Kentucky and Louisville both reported to be in the mix for him now.
