Last I heard, Nikki will play for Austin Eagles 18 (Hutchins sp?). My summer team has played against them the past couple years...great pitcher. Stacy supposedly bailed out on the Austin Eagles 16 (Pickett) due to lack of pitching time/competition with Holly Thomas (Ootlewah) and Kaitlin Holloway (GPS). Holly is the real deal and may put Ooleway over the hump. The Rice/Thomas combo on the mound will likely give trouble to most in Chatt.....Maybe the best combo in the state? The Holloway twins (soph), plus new fresh (Phillips, Chester, Cambell) should make GPS a top 4 at state this year.

I'll have to agree with you. I think they will be beat.......beat.......beat........beat ...beat.........beat ..........beat........beat. Any team that has them on there schedule will beat them.

Anybody that actually thinks Soddy-Daisy is a 15-win max team is probably thinking football (15 games counting playoffs). I can't believe some still thought I was really thinking that, my pick was 2nd in the district if I'm not mistaken, around 5th overall around Chattanooga but that didn't mean I thought they were terrible. If I'd been picking a season record last year, say maybe 45 games counting tournaments I'd said something about 32-13. Ooltewah didn't do as well as I thought they would last year.

East Ridge has a very good team in the girls can find somebody to replace last years seniors. B/c Paige Goins, Ashley Adkins , and Tiffany Baker can carried them all year with their pitching. Get those bats going girls.
