One SS to watch in D2 is William Stout at Chattanooga Baylor. My understanding is that he is a transfer from Memphis University School who also pitches. He should be a welcomed player for Coach Etter and an impact player for the Red Raiders.

If Baylor takes the field with serious intent to play baseball...they could be DII's

best team on the field. They must hit as they can do and put up a wall on defense.

They have a deep pitching rotation and strong bats. They must not comment

the errors like last year and must bring home the guys on the bags. I would say,

this could be a good team.

MBA wont win the middle region, it will come down to BA, BGA, and FRHS.

Sr. Patrick Kimmons hit just over .400 last year and went 6-2 on the mound as the #2 starter. He also held Farragut hitless through 5 innings last year.

 

Zach Gosselin hopefully has completely recovered from the shoulder surgery he had and will be back in the form he had his sophomore season.

 

Jordan Wormsley is a LHP and CF who hit .390 last year as a Sophomore.

 

Brian Bibee is a Senior RF who has already signed with UT.

 

Jr. Charlie Seivers hit 6 HR's last year as a spot starter for the Spartans.

 

A.J. Kirby is a SO 3rd Baseman who has alot of potential. He hit 4 HR's on varsity last year as a spot starter. He also is a hard throwing pitcher. (hit 89 last year while pitching in the Sportsbelle Classic)
