Sports Dad
Any predictions on this one? Hendersonville appears to be playing well lately without 2 of their starters.
fish5
Hendersonville will be able to gauge their progress at home on Thursday night when Shelbyville comes to town. Shelbyville is having an off year, but they sure looked impressive in dismantling Jackson County tonight at Jackson County (a tough arena to visit) 66-49! team2beatvu
I really am disappointed that HHS did not pull out at least one win against Beech already this season. The first game went into overtime with HHS getting the last shot in regulation when Melissa Govea was fouled but there was no call. The second game HHS controlled most of the way until Alicia Lee hit a huge three pointer in the fourth quarter to put Beech ahead for good. If HHS plays with the same intensity, then this game will be a great one to watch. Angela Brandt has come on strong lately for the Lady Commandoes, and was a major factor in the game at Beech. She is the X factor in this game, and she must score to take away pressure from Kali Holtfreiter. If Keffer can step up and hit a couple of threes, then the inside should be open more for Govea to have a great night similar to the game at Beech. Hopefully HHS will be able to pull this one out by controlling the game speed(not too much) and limiting threes by the Beech guards.
team2beatvu
Hey sports dad, which girl is yours on the team? I announce the home games for HHS so you probably know me. I was just curious.
govolz
I think that Hendersonvile could possibly pull an upset here. Just because of the rival between the schools. Throw home field advantage out the window...

Joshfletch80
Beech and Hendersonville...Just saying it gives you chills. This rivalry is good at whatever the sport, b-ball, hockey, soccer, it doesnt matter its always good. Now for a normal game you might give a team an advantage of being home...not here, being less than 15 miles apart, making the trip across town is no big problem for anyone. You could give Beech the advantage, since they have won the last two...But then again the first went into OT and the second came down to the final minute. This game will rely solely on who can stop whose outside shooting. Whichever team has the bigger day from beyond the ark WILL win this one. I think its gonna be a tight one in OT once again with beech pulling out a close one. ---Games on Monday night at Buccaneer Gymnasium @ 7:00. team2beatvu
Do you all think Hville has improved sufficiently from last year? HHS has some really good players, but they are without a single senior. I think they could potentially be a really good team. Coach Hall is a great Xs and Os coach, but what do you all think about his improvements over Coach Dean last year?
team2beatvu
I think HHS has improved this year and is a obviously a more mature team. Coach Hall has created a winning atmosphere with his positive, no nonsense attitude. I think the girls are on the way up in the coming years.
