Where does Chad Barger come from? That it was supposed to be Tim Thompson.

A little background on Chad Barger. Played his HS ball at Bledsoe Co. under Dickie Brown in the middle nineties. He played while Bledsoe was in the region with Cannon, Westmoreland, Smith etc. Played at Cumberland Univ. then transferred to UTC. He has been at Sequatchie Co. as Def. Coordinator the last 3 years. Was going to move to OC this year before taking the HC job. I may be biased but he is a dang good football coach and should bring some energy and hard work to the Cannon Co. FB program. Give him time and I think he can turn things in the right direction.

Cannon will certainly have a strong, well-conditioned team from here on out, if they were not before. His success will have a lot to do on if the males in school are willing to work to get better. Coach Barger was well liked by most all students, regardless if they were in the athletic or "popular" clique, or not, he treats everyone the same and will be missed at the high school.
