Shootmore
They play Monday at 7pm at Columbia. Cookeville is the #4 seed and Columbia is the #1 seed. These two teams played last year in the first round of region with Columbia winning.

85warrior
Cookeville plays great defense, but I don't think they can score enough to win this one.
coachlj65
columbia also plays great defense as witnessed friday night. with just under 6 minutes to go and a 2 point lead, columbia held lincoln co to just 2 points the rest of the game. they apply pressure on the perimeter as well as inside with their posts shot blocking ability. offensively, they are very unselfish and can be lead in scorring by any 1 of 5 different players. banjodr
The only matchup we have to go on is the playday in Columbia and the Lady Lions won big-25 or so, but who knows there are probably no ways to even compare that at this stage. coachlj65
yes, be hard to compare from 4 months ago. you never know who they might have not had, or who has developed, etc.... look for coach moore to keep them focused on the task and the home crowd to be there in support. MidTennFootball
Just remember that the Lady Cavs have revenge on their mind. Columbia used this game last year as a springboard to their cinderella run to state and Cookeville has the most underrated coach in the state in Coach Odom. I think Columbia wins, but Cookeville will give them quite the scare Edited February 28, 2005 by OaklandGrad
