Let the record show

Let the record show. Most of the "trash talk" that has been made about McMinn Co. Soccer has NOT been coming from the team itself. It is coming from people outside of our program, or from our JV players who are about to learn a lesson a hard way.

We have a tremendous amount of respect for Farragut. And yes , we are 0-3 against them. So we have not, and will not, say anything about them. To make reference from the greatest wrestler of all time , Rick Flair, "To be the man, you have to beat the man." Well Farragut is the Man, and nobody has beaten them, especially us.

And we ask anyone who has any sense, stop talking about us. We have some pretty big holes to fill; we lost 5 starters from last years team. Our focus is to get ourselves back to the top of our District and our Region. And we may be lucky to do that.

So please, no more talk about McMinn/Farragut.

Thank you and have a nice day!!

Thank you lcsoccer.  I am just trying to set the record straight.  My players have been told NOT to get on here and talk.  We have to do our talking on the field, not on coacht.

the coach has alot of class on and off the field.....he served on the local competitive association board for 3 years......he has an active role in ayso, that his children participate in....he is an active member in his church including the choir......a gifted teacher.......and one who chose not to up root his family when georgia schools offered significant raises for his services as coach.

we are fotunate regardless of our win/loss record

    • Sounds like y'all got a lot of bodies to choose from. We lost 2 really good seniors and have 4 from Junior High that has moved up. That will give us 12 starting summer camps. As you know we all have to stay healthy. Proud Alexander and Micah are going to play together at Bethel. They were really fun to watch at the All Star game in Murfreesboro. They have real good chemistry together on the floor.
    • Baxter will do what they most always do.....at a minimum produce at least 9 Ws and run into at least the 2nd round.....Booger actually enjoyed seein them in the Gold Ball contest last season.... Booger just sayin
    • Catholic North will provide them both a decent contest Booger just sayin
    • Well personally I see us going 9-1 so that isn't doom and gloom to me , Most people are thinking 6-4. Bearden will be the possible loss but hoping not. I was very impressed with what I saw this spring.
    • the kid you are speaking about, played in JV games,  2H half Science Hill game, split time in Hardin Valley and Bearden and that was it.   The upcoming Senior RB was All Region as a Junior and is regarded by the media as one of the top running backs in East TN for 2024 season. Scouting services have him as a top 10 back in the state.  Something aint adding up with gloom and doom. Maybe he was hurt and not at spring practice when you watched?
