Looks like Sycamore (aka the "Little Engine That Could") met their maker tonight. I am not seeing this power that Lewis County posseses when they play these other teams.

 

They beat Sycamore and Waverly, but lose to Lawrence County?!?

 

Anywho, sorry your team's season had to end catfish. Maybe you can pull for us now?!?

I am 3-0 for my picks so far and I think I may go 4-0. I think Page will use the home court advantage tonight and move on. People may of thought my picks were crazy last year but I am telling you it will be Lewis Co. vs. Giles Co. in the region championship game.

This may hold true, Gerry, given Waverly's recent fixation the past two years with being bounced from the region tournaments without even a finals appearance to show for their efforts!!!

 

 

Even with the Messiah, Bubba Nichols, Waverly hasn't made it past that elusive regional semi-final. First it was Marshall County (a year which Waverly hosted regions, next was Page, another 9AA team, and then last year, the mighty War Eagles of Sycamore sent Waverly packing yet again!)
