South Pittsburg VS. Temple

South Pitt played horrible for 3 quarters, to a mediocre Boyd team. It will also take good coaching to win this game, you know, calling time outs to stop the bleeding and talking to your players, not just the officals...

i agree i was at the boyd vs. SP game and i was very shoked to see that their coach hardly said a word to his players. he was to busy screaming at the refs. i remember at one point boyd was like on a 8 or 9-0 run and he was just standing there. you gotta know when to slow things down. not that coaching will effect this game in the least though. i say temple by at least 20

But back to the topic. Mouw will stop Robinson from getting to the boards which is where 75% of his offensive production comes from. South pitt really doesnt have anyone else who is that good. And even if Robinson starts to produce you can bet on it he will be in foul trouble.

So Temple wins this on by 20+.

you're right about that. he does get most of his points off of rebounds. i was suprised at the boyd game at how little they fed him the ball, luckily the rest of the team is bad enough that he was able to haul down their junk and put up a few points. back to the temple game though. i dont think it will be much of a game at all and i would not expect robinson to put up more than about fifteen or so.

Thanks icecold i'm glad someone could appreciate my humor. I will say that Temple will win state, for the simple fact that I couldn't care less about A basketball. AAA in Memphis is where the real basketball is played.

I know I get on here and bash single A Temple alot, but in all honesty Temple was the 2nd best team i saw play all year. The team who was number is no longer in the Tourny, so they don't even get a mention. The things that Coach Wadley is able to do over there with the number of kids he has to work with, should simply be commended. You take any school with 200 kids and you might have 4 or 5 DECENT athletes. I would give more credit to Coach Wadley than any other coach in the city of Chattanooga. Temple is a dominate team in A, but i would be willing to say that in a district like 6-AA they would still be a number 1 or 2 seed. Coach Wadley just gets those boys ready to play. Besides if Skogen's keep popping up out of no where Temple may never give up that number 1 spot.

Temple will win by at least 20. They are the best single A team in the state and SP is not in their class.

spfan11, I just wanted to add my two cents, the reason Temple is A, and not AAA is because of how many kids go to the school, no other reason. And the 184 number that people keep quoting is the number AFTER the multiplier. Temple only has about 120 9-12. AND just in case you were wondering, Temple beat Ooltewah by 9, and Ooltewah beat some of the AAA teams you mentioned. I think that bout says it all.

What it all boils down to is the Robinson - Mouw matchup, which gives the advantage to Temple. Temple and South Pittsburg are even, player-for-player, except underneath the basket...? Wait, no.......
