I completely agree with the advantage of being the underdog, but honestly. I was at the boyd/SP game last night. It was the first time i got to see SP play and i expected a lot more. You seem to have a good player, but not much of a supporting cast. Good luck tomorrow , but one player will not beat temple.

In regards to what the golden eagle said above.....if you will look at all the posts that you have on your post about SP winning State, the same person (PokerPlayer07) posted every one of those. I happen to know that he is not from SP nor is he a fan of SP. He is from that county, though!

The first post, and fifth post... WHAT?? They are the exact same thing, and it is posted by PokerPlayer07...he is from Richard Hardy, u know the team that was on here a couple weeks ago agreein with you that SP was awful. Now that we beat them 3 times he is tryin to turn around and act like a SP fan, anybody that pays attention to single A ball knows that SP shouldn't make it to state.

Third and fourth Post... AGAIN THE SAME THING!! I cant speak for SPfan11 but I think he was just tryin to get a conversation started... and he said, best team in their DISTRICT. That don mean region that dont mean state, that means district. They about proved themselves to be the best team in their district.

Correct me if I'm wrong,which i'msure you will, but IF Temple wins their region wouldn't they have to play PICKETT CO? Didn't they only beat them by less than 10 @ home? Sounds to me like Temple needs to worry about getting through the region and substate before they worry about playing in the state tournment.

You can bet that Temple is taking one game at a time. They are by no means counting their chickens before they're hatched. They are ready to play South Pitt. and will take care of business on Thursday. I would say that they are not taking SP for granted (and shouldn't), but they will win this game (i have no doubt in mind about that).

 

They don't care who they play and will be ready for the road ahead.

Their goal at the beginning of the season was to win every game -- and have done that with the exception of an early loss to McCallie -- and to win another state championship.

Whatever man... all Temple has to do is step on the court and they have the game won. They dont have to worry about Pickett Co.! They dont even have to worry if the Miami Heat step on the court. Really, whos Shaq... they have Skogen! (LOL)

You are sort of on the right track there nativebuff. If Temple wins their Region and Pickett does too, they both would host the 2nd place team from the opposite region. The only way Pickett and Temple would play each other prior to the State Tourney is if Pickett lost and terefore had to travel once again to Chattanooga. Tell Coach Bibb that I said HI and good luck the rest of the year. He will know exactly who Little Jimmy is!
