I want this thread to be open to people in the watauga conf. to get off the volunteer threads and come here to bash all other teams in the conf.

 

Lets hear about some of the topics off there thread such has....

the coaching part is true and a good bash i give it a 7

 

As for the other part we are not as lucky as hawkins county to have a comprehensive school :)

our coach likes us to read this stuff but not do any trash talking. we've got some pretty good motivation off here the last couple years. so i'll tell you a little about us without comparing us to anybody else or bad mouthing. as far as north goes - we have 7 guys that started last year back plus our 1,3,4,5 pitchers back from a team thats been to the sectional 2 straight years. got some good young guys too. our scrimmages:

south 3-3, had a bad day against east the first week lost 14-5. had 2 scrimmages against db lost 4-1 and 5-4 and beat tenn high fri 17-4. but good luck to everybody. this is a great conference with lots of good teams.

im sorry to all the baseball fans in the watauga conference for you having to watch terrible baseball all year long you think happy valley is good come on now have you seen them play they have 1 decent player and dont get me started on unicoi my short term memory is pretty good and im sure they got beat 30-1 in a scrimage saturday but lucky for my im way down the road and dont have to worry about this sorry conference wasting my teams pitching

      I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.

      I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back

      That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef

      One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.

      If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
