Owlsbaseballfan
If teams are going to spend the money to go to Florida and play during spring break they need to play against good teams. The panhandle has some good teams but the best teams are from the Orlando, Tampa, and Miami/South Florida area. IMO some teams are just looking for a trip out of state and really don't care what kind of competition they play. Will anyone be playing some of the top teams like Guliver Prep (coached by Laser) or Westminister (coached by Rich Hoffman)? 825613222[/snapback] dude Florida teams are tough so where do u get that they are no good

cbg
owlbaseball, No one is saying that all Florida teams are bad. The facts are that Florida has good teams and bad teams just like every state does. What I was trying to say is that if you are going to spend the money to play in Florida you should seek out the best teams in Florida to play. It just so happens that Central Florida & South Florida have more good teams than the panhandle area. This does not mean that the panhandle does not have good teams in it. The top 10 teams from Florida that I posted were from the Baseball Americal Top 50 National rankings.
