Week 10- Dresden @ Huntingdon

Yes, it's a week early and Dresden has a bye week, we'll then be facing Mustangs after they play Milan (and having lost to McKenzie before that). Hope Lions staff views film and comes up with a good plan, and our players execute well. Dresden will need a great effort to get this monkey off of our back of not beating Huntingdon. Methinks this will be our year, we are a very different team than the dismal start of this year, and Dresden wins at Stang stadium, thus getting #2 seed & bye going into 1A playoffs. Hope so anyways!

You guys can talk on here but I'm not going to make a prediction on what I think till we play our game with Milan gotta take it one game at a time.  I will say 2 things 1st this game will be important for both teams as it should be for 2nd place in district I believe and the 2nd thing is if I was Dresdens coach or hey even some of the players I'd go to Huntingdon to watch this weeks game.  Milan and Huntingdon is usually a good game to watch anyway so some of you Lion fans might wanna show up as well.  Anyway enjoy your bye week I might post again but will prob post more after Friday night

I'm like Kermit I wont say much until next week. Sounds like (from reading the McKenzie / Huntingdon thread) a strong passing game will help the Lions against Huntingdon. This isn't our strong point, though. Sounds like Q is getting better at passing and we have two weeks to work on it.

Go Stangs, it will definitely be for #2 seed and important game, but lets enjoy the Huntingdon Milan Game firstly; its my favorite game of the year and some of the best games ever seen/played in >>> electricity will be in the air.... Lets hope coaches and players get better this week and amped up for Milan.

No doubt some in-person scouting will be going on by Dresden. If I'm able to I may go too. Have friends in Milan. That rivalry game is definitely famous, lotsa fun for any fan of the game. May no injuries befall either team.

I'm picking the Lions....Huntingdon had a major flaw exposed this past week and can be duplicated. I'll take the Lions by 6. No one was expecting this early on, when the fair weather fans were jumping ship.....Load the box, shoot the LBs through the gaps, and make the QB pass....pretty simple and "no charge". McKenzie made Huntingdon look very pedestrian last week.

Didn't expect that! Tonight Milan was all over Mustangs 27-0, about like the whoopings Huntingdon been giving Dresden these last few years. IMO this means Lions better be doubly ready, because Stangs are doubly mad now having lost two games in a row, they'll not want it to be three. This game will be for 2nd place in district. Gonna be a big win IF Dresden can pull it off. Congrats to McKenzie Rebels for their great season thus far, a well earned district crown. No injuries on either team, as always, is my main concern!

I am going to say this I want Huntingdon to win but wouldnt be surprised if we didnt get mercy ruled in week 10 dodged a bullet last 2 games.  Game is for 2nd place in district I believe so it is still very important.  Come on mustangs finish season strong Dresden a good team lets make it a ball game.

 

Does Dresden still do fireworks?  If so might wanna buy some hope we can spoil you from it though.  Time to put Pearson out there.  Just sayin
