I will agree with most of what folks are saying but I'm not so sure that Clinton is a great measuring stick. There will be teams that OR will face this year that will match up with them with overall team speed. Not many, if any, will have a Higgins or Graham running around tho. Poor Clinton just looked awful. No other way to put it.

One thing for sure, this will be one of the best atmospheres for hs football anywhere.  SS, correct me if I'm wrong,  but I think the series between the teams is something like 18 wins apiece in 36 ball games over the years.  One team may have the edge by 1, but I know it is very close.  Always a great crowd and usually a hard fought, close ballgame that goes down to the wire.  DB and OR both played bad teams last night.  Friday will require much better execution, concentration, and attention to detail.   Whichever team can step it up to the next level will win this one.

I agree.  Clinton was not much of a measuring stick, but we did stick it to them early.

I went to dB game tonight since we were off...a impartial viewpoint would be TN high is very bad! Fumbled 3 straight plays inside their own 25 yard line leading to dB scores and fumbled also in 2nd half the same way leading to other scores...they couldn't even catch kickoffs!!! They were really really bad. I think TN high completed 2 passes and were very small...gonna be a really long season viking fans...I'm sorry.

A good QB can fine the holes in OR defense Clinton had one good drive against OR  first team and scored. If DB has 2 good DE that can contain and LB's to stop the dive they can slow OR offense  down. Should be a good game...

DB's defense may be the best OR will see all year (sorry Campbell Co.). With OR's offence theyjust may have too much to prepare for. If you like high school football and don't have anything to do next Fri. ya need to be at "The Ship"
