Looks like Westview is a lock again. Is Gibson county down? Riverside got upset and will have to travel. Any chance they could knock Gibson out?

Is Creekwood good enough to slow down Jackson SS or Lexington?

Real question in my mind is why is everything in the middle part of the state. Why doesn’t all state championship events rotate between East, West and Middle. Where is it fair that the middle Tennessee teams always get to play close to home. They should have to travel once every three years instead of East and West having to travel every year

It’s crazy that these teams work hard all year to get there and then are made to play at times of a ridiculous nature. 9:30 am? 8:45 pm? why can’t we make the tournament a 2 week event with the boys playing over the same time period and not make teams play before noon or 1. If this was truly for the kids then these crazy times would not happen

Rotate the regions 1 vs 8 then the next year vs 7 and down to 5 and start over with the stipulation that no one plays a team from their district until finals

They do indeed and since they hide how they decide the match ups it seems not right

When it comes to tournament time coaches can come up with schemes to stop or at least slow down a team that has that one player who dominates their offense. Other players have to step up to advance

It’s a simple question. Over 385 students in 2021 and 2022 and in 2023 they have less than 100 students in 7th grade. Seems that only happened when they couldn’t win state in 2A
