The new coach is Dennis Therrell. Here is some of his coaching experience.

  

2016 Calloway County(KY) High School- defensive 
coordinator
2009-2010 UNLV - defensive coordinator, safeties
2008	UNLV - defensive coordinator, linebackers
2007	UNLV - linebackers
2006	Auburn - volunteer coach
2004-05, 2013-2015 Murray State - defensive coord.
2000-03	Army - defensive coord.
1997-99	Illinois State - defensive coord.
1990-95	Lock Haven University - head coach
1987-89	Lock Haven University - def. coord.
1985-86	Middle Tennessee - defensive ends
1983-84	Tennessee - graduate assistant

With a resume like that I hope the Bledsoe faithful  get what they said they should have had the last several years. Championships and titles...

Will you make sure this Therrell man calls Murphy and may can add a supplemental page in my book about these Bledsoe boys? I garuntee you I get real mad when these coaches are lazy and dont turn in their survey.  You think im joking but im not.

      also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.

      stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
