Webb by 14. Too much speed. Fullback dive wont be as effective though with the run blitzs Lausanne does and the 6'5" 230 MLB waiting there. The wingT will create tons of outside lanes and Webb will get several chunk plays.

Lausannes speed with Gray will not be as imposing against Webb because they have more speed in the secondary.

Nobody will catch Howard unless they have an angle. He could have a very big game.

Hey Playerscoach, how do feel CPA will match up with Lausanne and Webb next year?

Man thats a good question. I know Ingle really likes his sophomore class. Webb has Howard and he's a special player and will be mentioned as the best ever out of Knoxville by many if he stays healthy. His speed as an 8th grader is shockingly good.

Both Lausanne and Webb were much better than CPA this year IMO. I think both will be better next year since Howard will be a freshman and Gray at Lausanne will be a junior.

I've known Ingle his entire life and I know he will get his kids ready to resume playing CPA football next year. After seeing the GP game it's apparent they are young but have some talent.

I will wait to see the score of the Liberty CPA matchup this friday before I give my impression of a CPA v Webb or Lausanne game.

Having seen all three plus GP both Webb and Lausanne would be 10+ favorites over CPA this year IMO. The only advantage, and its a good one, CPA would have over Lausanne is their kids just don't make big mistakes.

The size, speed and schemes of those schools would give CPA fits. GP running on CPA like they did was very surprising. Webbs ridiculous RB talent couldn't be stopped by CPA. Just too much talent. Lausanne has a great running QB and RB that would gash CPA.

Just my opinion and I am as big of an Ingle fan as there is.

Lots of Memphis people talking sweep. I'm hoping my Spartans have something to say about this. Would love to hear more about Lausanne.

Big and athletic. Several big linemen that are good. Good speed all over the field. Passing game is good but susceptible to big losses (sacks). Running game is excellent on the perimeter. Gray does not have the speed of the three backs for Webb. He's a great HS RB though.

With that being said Webbs speed is better. Fullback dive with be right into a great HS MLB for Lausanne. They will run blitz alot but Webb can hit big gains against this team.

Special teams for Lausanne have had issues in almost every scout film I watched (5). This might be the thing that helps Webb to another championship.

Webb by 14+ if they don't turn it over.

I really appreciate your analysis. Wish more people chipped in on D2 boards. I will be there Thursday hoping for a good one.

    • Why did the coach get rehired after she was let go as an assistant by the former Warren County coach and the current AD?? Is that accurate?? I am very familiar with situations like this. Suprised lawsuits haven't happend before. If the coach unfairly let the player go, I think she has a shot because it cost her a scholarship. No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team. Not going to happen. There are bad hires like this a bunch and kids are treated unfairly by coaches that can't coach a lick and have super long ropes somehow. Amazing how some of these coaches get hired and keep their job.
    • I am going to assume you are not a lawyer, and most reasonable lawyers would not say the lawsuit has a zero percent chance in court. I agree with you that a coach has the ability to dismiss anyone from a team. However, Ms. Winfree was never presented with the opportunity to present her witnesses and have them tell the coaches and administrators what they heard. A lawyer could better explain the lawsuit and the grounds to you. Before you start making wild assumptions about the lawsuit, would it be too much to ask that you do a little legal research first? The lawsuit is dealing with due process, loss of property, and defamation.   You can read the lawsuit here: https://bdnewsletter.files.wordpress.com/2024/04/doc-1-complaint-filed-4-18-2024.pdf
    • The administration took the path of backing the coach and whispering to people that the kid was a problem. The reality is that the kid was never a problem on a team or classroom. The player says she has witnessed who back her not saying the f-word.  Why did the coach make that story up and other stories? I am not Sigmund Freud and do not have an answer for the ex=-coach's behavior..
    • I think they have they coach they want close to being done. I guess we will all see how this plays out. I hope the hire a good one. There are some players in the box for the next coach to work with.
