Idk if this is your child's school/team. Or just someone that you know that had the experience but If it's your coach, my suggestion would be to just ask him what call was recorded in the official scorebook. I can tell you that mistakes happen and its unfortunate but everyone involved coaches ,athletes, parents and officials are all doing their very best to make the best choices for the sport. If there was a mistake that was made in this particular match, I'm sure it wasnt on purpose. No ones perfect tho we'd all like to be a close to as we can get right?

Well without all of the information it's hard to say what was called or what should have been called. Only the coaches involved and the official know what call was recorded and if you asked each one of them, no guarantee all the stories will match

Did the opposing coach question the hand of the injured wrestler being raised for the win?

If injury time was given then no illegal moved was called. Kid goes into recovery time if he is Injured due to an illegal move. If he cannot continue after 2 mins of recovery time, he is then awarded the match.

Are they live streaming the match tonight with Ryan?

None of the Chattanooga teams wrestled each other. I figure they know they'll see each other at the Cleveland Duals. Day of Duals is not a tournament. Teams wrestle who they choose to wrestle. Per Coach Morris

As far as I know, girls wrestling boys only eliminates them from competing in girls state competition / the girls state tournament.

Track shows Cleveland also being at Ooltewah. Wonder if that's a mistake or if a Cleveland B team is attending one of these.

Again...as of this year, on the boundary line is considered in bounds even if part of that same foot is touching outside the boundary line. Officials are encouraged more to take notice of what's inbounds with the new out of bounds rule as opposed to what's out of bounds. Not the case in years past.

Knee/knees don't have to be touching anymore as of this year. Just have to be inside the cylinder. Toes are only supporting points in the area of a pinning situation at the edge of the mat.

Has anyone heard of local counties schools closing Thursday and Friday because of cold weather? And if so will that affect eligibility to compete at this event and other sporting events in the area this weekend?
