Foe Collinwood to be region champs, them and Cornersville both have to win. If Cornersville loses and Collinwood wins, I think WC will still be 1st in the region... or it might be a 3-way tie? WC and Collinwood are playing for championship tomorrow night.

Congrats to C'ville on win tonight and good luck to PC in postseason. #5 for PC is great player to watch and hope #24 for PC is O.K.

Wayne Co. is at least 20 points better than anyone else in this region. I'm not a WC fan but do love the game and they are just too balanced on offense and play good defense also. They do have their moments of looking like an average team, but always seem to not shoot their foot off with stupid mistakes unlike other teams in this region. WC 34 CW 13

Strength of schedule will bite you later on when you can't get out of regionals though. As weak as D11 is this year I believe our top team could be in for a surprise against the 4 seed from D12.

Wayne Co. much too physical on the defensive side and too balanced on the offensive side. Running game is outstanding and if you crowd the box you're asking for Rice to air it out. Just pick your posion. I'll go with WC by 20. PC defenders had best fasten them chinstraps tight. These boys love to hit and the rest of the team feeds off of it. WC is well coached and don't make mistakes. Good Luck to all for an injury free game ( getting too close to playoffs for both ) and hope it turns out to be game all will remember for years

Marshall has too much youth to win but does have enough coaching to win. Problem is their coaching isn't good enough to compensate for the inconsistancy on the field. I do look for this game to be within 20 unless MC has too many turnovers.

Should be the game of the region this week. I'll go with Collinwood because of a mental edge they seem to have over PC. However, if PC can block this out and stick with their gameplan....they could squeak out a win.

Yes, here's a thought... Wayne County's oppenents have a combined record of 4-21 !!!! and next is CA... OVERRATED!!!!!!!!! Here is a better thought....I don't care if Wayne County's opponents had a combined record of 0-25....the fact is that they are the team to beat in this region.....and I'm not even a Wayne Co. fan.

Arms are made for tackling. Shoulder Pads are made for protection. Haven't you ever heard the phrase wrap up? Guess not. Just being sarcastic there bud..... I was just referring to the fact that we have too many defenders reaching out instead of moving their feet for a tackle. I do think Cornersville should win but they have been playing sloppy lately so I wouldn't be suprised if it's alot closer than your prediction.

If Cornersville doesn't learn how to stop the run between the tackles they are going to have a hard time beating anyone else. Middle of the defense is to soft. You have to play hard every snap, not every third or fouth play. Arms are made for tackling, not slapping high fives as the runners go by. Running backs need to pick up tempo also. They need to hit the holes hard and fast and quit jogging up to line scared to get hit. Team looked good against Huntland but have gotten worse each week since.

I'm from Middle Tennessee and was watching some games today and just happened to catch the Brainerd / David Lipscomb game. I will have to say that this was a very good game and I was impressed by the coaching of both teams. You both are great coaches from what I saw and are very well respected by your players and it showed on the court. Congrats to both...

Every team up there is on a mission, and every team knows. Good luck to all and may they all leave their best on the court. All teams that make it this far are deserving of respect from all that attend and also whom they play against.

I'll say Memphis will do good to get 2 of the golden balls back home, but I do think Manassas has a good chance of bringing one back, as long as the players don't think they have it wrapped up like some of their fans do.

What happens when your top two teams in the state are from the same district....A few years ago I remember Collinwood and Wayne Co. played for the title in girls basketball. This would eliminate one of them from the get go.

28% FG shooting was because of open looks not going down. We could steal the ball on a pass, race to the other end and miss a wide open lay-up. That is why our FG% was low. I will admit your girls play good defense but no better than alot of teams we played against.

Only point I understand is Congrats on the win. What paid off for you was 28% FG shooting by us for the game. There was only one person making a quote about your schedule so don't include people when you make a point.
