i think you'd be shockd to learn how many high schools use city or university owned fields or baseball, football, etc....it sems that WV gets the best of both world by using state f the art facilities that they dont have to maintain.....better think it over real good...

Poston can jump out of the gym. If there is a better player in the state i would be surprised. Her counterpart, Shaniqua Gray should also be a finalist, and probably does more for her team than Poston. Looks like they'll both get to showcase their skills in the state tournament.

I'll never understand totally giving up on a rebound on free throws. Especially on the front end of a 1-1...just doesn't make sense. I've seen it done before late in games when a team is way up, but not when the game is one the line. I think you would see more teams doing it if it were that effective..

It's always a good thing when a little ole public school beats a private school. All the private schools should play in their own division. Right now in 2A, its Alcoa, then and everybody else. How long is that going to last? Is Alcoa anywhere close to being bumped up to 3A, enrollment wise?

One man team? Tamias Johnson had 200 yards rushing against Milan last time...he has 1,200 on the season...more than any Milan back! And Milan has played 8 qtrs. of scoreless football, not 10. Westview scored in the 4th qtr. in the last week of the regular season.

just for fun, if Goodpasture wins and Milan wins, where would the semi-final game be played since GP is a #2 seed, and milan is a #1 seed?

get over it dude. both milan and camden got some bad calls in the game. but if you were there, you know milan outplayed camden that night...kicked their butts in the second quarter, and thats why milan won

Bledsoe had serious shoulder surgery in the off season. Ever tried to strap on shoulder pads and hit someone after someone has cut on your should with a big knife? Didn't think so. Everyone needs to get off Bledsoe. He's about to have a impact game. Wait and see!

I doubt very seriously the game will be moved. I've been down this road before. Carver has a decent field to play on, and there's no reason it can't be used. TSSAA would have to approve the move, and that would set a precedence. I don't think that will ever happen. It would not be 'politically correct' to move the game, and TSSAA does not want to get into that kind of debate. It'll never happen!

Big Chase Horton is a hammer at fullback. This guy is for real. And whoever said Camden's defense is average hasn't seen them play. Goodpasture is giving up 24 ppg. That's what I call average!

Everyone in the purple nation is excited b/c they saw a totally different team last Friday night than they had seen all season. That was the team everyone thought they would have in every game. Regardless of the reasons Milan got off to a slow start, they played very well against Westview. If Milan is as physical and intense again this week, I just don't think JCS can compete for four quarters. If Milan comes out flat??????

In region 8--Milan is playing JCS, and Huntingdon is playing Westview...again. These are the 4 best in the region, and should have been rewarded with something better than this. Huntingdon, the #4 seed, got the best draw of the entire quadrant, playing a 3-7 Westwood team. The Z-plan is a joke!

milan should win. but it depends on which team shows up. If the team that played westview shows up, the Bulldog will win big. If the same team that played JCS the first time shows up...it's anybodys game!
