  1. Hendersonville is third. They have the head to head tie-breaker over both Antioch and Hunters Lane. The winner of the Gallatin/Beech game is first, loser is second. The winner of the Antioch/Hunters Lane game is fourth. Pretty simple. My prediction: 1)Gallatin 2)Beech 3)H'ville 4)Hunters Lane
  2. That's what you do when you're bored, huh? Well that's interesting reading.
  3. Station Camp High and Pope John Paul II opened this year also.
  4. This is the best game in the area this week, no doubt. I'll be there for sure. However, stats won't make a difference. These two teams really don't like each other. And that is putting it nicely. Every TV channel in the area will be there and so should CoachT!
  5. We found out about Cumberland Co., huh! Two straight losses. But don't hold your heads too low guys, you can still vote yourselves #1 in CoachT's poll!

    What's up with Blackman?
  7. Gallatin gets an O'Charley's, a Logan's, a Cracker Barrel, Chili's, and a Jack in the Box, and all of a sudden there are 300-pounders everywhere! Is this a coincidance? Methinks not!
  8. I just wished more people voted. 400 a week is kinda poor considering the number of people that visit each week. That's because it's pointless. Everyone sees that it is futile when there are a few folks out there making it impossible for the true "people's choice" to be known.
  9. ... the Cumberland Co. folks can say they're #1 in CoachTs poll, but they're only #2(at best) in their own region. God bless devout fans!
  10. I'm not suprised you did that. I hope you got to it quick enough to limit the damage!
  11. ....iamoz. I hope I don't get in trouble for this. But you are wrong about voting from the same computer. If you know what you're doing [] you can vote as many times as you like. Until you design it like the BigOnes contest there are going to be "cheaters". [Edited by iamoz on 10-22-02 6:20P]
  12. Hedersinville has to beat Antioch to get in. I think the Commodores are still pretty hurt from last week. I say AHS pulls off the upset and HHS season ends after week ten!
  13. Looking at the teams/regions in RHS's side of the bracket, I'd say they have a very good chance of getting back. No one has been able to score on them all year. And I don't see any real great offenses in that bracket. Brentwood, Germantown, Houston, Gallatin. They're all in the other bracket. So Riverdale won't have any excuses if they don't make it to the finals. The teams that could beat them are all on the other bracket.
  14. What was the score last year? One other question: I am wondering why Goodpasture does not want to play in Division II, yet all of the non-region games they chose to shedule where against other private schools. Only one of which was NOT in DII(CPA). I don't mean to steer this into a public/private thing. I just wonder why they schedule those opponents when if they don't want to play them every year.
  15. Not sure, but I would think Jefferson Co. in 96(?). I think that was the year they knocked out Riverdale in the first or second round and went on to lose to BA. I'm not sure what their record was.
  16. I have no idea who's gonna win this thing, but... If I were a betting man, I'd go w/ this final four. Oak Ridge at Riverdale/ Gallatin at Germantown I'm not sure how good Oak Ridge really is, but region 1 and region 2 don't look all that tough when you look at their records. The other three schools are playing lights-out defense. Riverdale- 8 points a game. Gallatin-7 points a game. Germantown-6points a game. WOW!
  17. Who are the best defensive coordinators out there? why?
  18. Dickson Co. at Brentwood. Stiff defense versus potent offense. McMinn Co. at Cumberland Co. We'll find out if CC was overrated. Ooltewah at Oak Ridge. Ooltewah had high expectations coming into the season. A win here could right the ship. Gallatin at Hunters Lane. Two tough D's trying to punish the other team. Henry Co. at Centennial. Must win for Centennial if they want a postseason.
  19. Oakland shouldn't be mentioned in this thread at all. They may not even make the playoffs. Lebanon holds the tie-breaker over OHS if it ends up tied. So Oakland is on the outside looking in right now.
  20. Well jonny, you got the GHS-17 part right!
  21. I wonder if Cumberland Co. will get those 70 first place votes in CoachT's fan poll this week. What a joke
  22. Gametime66, why don't you try respelling your word correctly before you eat them, ok?
  23. Who do you guys think are the frontrunners for 5a Mr.Football? Abe Felix jumps to mind, but I don't know any stats? Turner @ Blackman and Henry @ Riverdale would be, but injuries knock them out. Who else? Stats?

    5A Top Ten

Dickson Co. If they can find ways to score they can be very dangerous. No one has scored much against them at all.
  25. You're exactly right. Because of all of these final scores of 81-0, 71-7, and so on, no one respects them. You would think that EH fans would understand what it feels like to be on the other side of a rout and encourage the school to put a stop to this. Let's keep something in mind here. This is a private school! No one HAS to go there! If enough local parents hear all this stuff, they're going to think twice about sending their child to this school. If EH gets a bad image out of this, deserved or not, then it will hurt them in the long run. And then, maybe, EH will be back on the other side of these routes.
