Is Jeremy Moore still on the faculty at LaVergne High School? Does anyone know if he is coaching at another school in Rutherford County?

Where did Coach Johnson end up? Just saw his team play a week or so back....

AAA- Maplewood from Nashville, you would probably have to say Franklin-Maplewood would be the odds on favorites for a Region 6AAA final this year.

The extended box will be a plus, I hope it passes as well. Two things though; 1) Coaches will have a difficult time staying in the box no matter how big it is 2) There will always be referees who are overly concerned if a coach gets one step out of the box. 3) It's gonna be hard to enforce this year if it passes as most schools will not have made the adjustments to their home court. Remember the good old days when the coach had to remain seated on the bench at all times?

More likely desination for Springer would be Sunset Middle School to replace Brock and eventually the new high school in Eastern WilCo in 2012.

Wow, didn't see that Indy/ Centennial score coming, Well done Indy! You all finally get over the hump this year. Funny that #12 from BHS got a straight red tonight, he deserved one at the end of their quarter final game on Monday. Quite ironic they will lose him for two when loss really doesn't matter in the 11AAA finals nor the crossover match with 12AAA the latter of which they will still win anyway. Brentwood will push Ha into the lineup and win 1-0 on Friday. Wouldn't mind seeing Indy win though.

rebelj, I'm skeptical but I hope you guys can pull it off! Brentwood 3 Franklin 1 If FHS beats them there won't be enough towels around for #12 for BHS to cry on Centennial 2 Indy 1 I just think that Centennial is better.

He was the assistant girls coach at Brentwood High School last year, he already taught at FHS. Cannot recall his name though....

Romie Reed from John Overton High School will be the first Boys" Basketball Coach at Cane Ridge High School. Coach Reed is a good coach and an even better person, John Overton's loss is CR's gain. Best of luck to Coach Reed and the new school.

Beware all prospective coaching candidates, that principal has ran off a few coaches on either side of the basketball program! I believe it was his tenure year as well, this is a common practice in Williamson County (and others) to gut coaches before they award tenure. I am not surprised, tough place to coach and teach!

Ahmed Al-Zhyri from John Overton High School is a two-year varsity starter. He did in fact "stand on his head" versus Brentwood last year in their 11-AAA match (the first of the three times they played). He really outplayed Leedle that night. Overton lost most every starter to graduation but they will go as far as Al-Zhyri and defensive midfielder Nizhyar Dosky can carry them for 2008.

Not for me to say, they are really good but in past years the winners either either come from the Knoxville district or the Memphis district. Top to bottom though 11AAA can compete with any district around the state.

He is one heck of a coach and I totally agree with you Metroman. I think he just doesn't have enough talent this year to pull it off. Nollner is a pretty good coach himself with a wealth of postseason experience, more than DK even. I think with the upset in the 11-AAA final all of this spells doom for Franklin in the semi-finals of the region, bad loss at the worst time for them. What is the deal with Maplewood? I didn't see Wade's name in the boxscore the other night in the 12-AAA finals, is he out?

Brentwood- Loaded Ravenwood/ Centennial- Flip a coin, game as good as the refs who call it.. Franklin- The top four only reload each year Indy- Great JV group last year, we will see if they can make the jump with their vets. Overton- Lost about everyone last year Hillwood- Lost a good coach, decent younger group Hillsboro- Their program has really plummeted
