Jefferson County scrimmaged Knox Carter in a seven on seven passing scrimmage. Once at JCHS and once at Carter. They had a seven on seven scrimmage with Knox West, but they( Knox West) backed out. If there are any more seven on seven scrimmages, thats without pads, i don't know of them.

Someone from Dobbins-Bennett called coach Euverard today asking if they could play on thursday night instead of friday night because the possibility of very heavy rain. Coach Euverard said he would not do that to his players, having to travel to and from Kingsport, then have to get up the next morning to go to school. Coach Euverard said " See you friday night".

JC, I will be at practice monday like i was last monday sitting in my blue chair (unless it is raining) Come over to me and tell me how we were running a 4-3 defense when Brad Robbins was NT aka NG. A 3-4 and a 5-2 are simular. You cannot have walk up OLB's in a 4-3, that would leave you with one LB. That is why jeff. co. is running a 3-4 and a 5-2.

Brah, I ain't a West fan, but TSSAA assigns refs from an association not used by either team...home-cooking? Are you kidding me? Hey Kevin, I have been to a lot more morristown west games in the regular season and the playoffs than you, the homecooking comes in all forms, it will happen in morristown as it always has. The playoffs ( even with tssaa officials) in morristown will be same as usual. I do believe that Maryville will overcome and win. GO REBELS!! CLASS OF 1974 RHS

Hey Tribe, thank you for you support on jefferson county beating oak ridge and hoping for the opportunity for mcminn co and jefferson co. squaring off, but if jefferson co. and mcminn co. win their 2nd round games, mcminn co. comes to jefferson co. not the ohter way around. but either way i hope that game does happen. good luck !! GovMan, The only reason that comes to mind is the fact that W-B brought a 5-5 record to Dumplin Valley and figured,ho hum, why bother. You Jefferson County fan that did not come to friday nights game W-B missed a good game. The patriot fans that did not come, SHAME ON YOU !!!! W-B gave my patriots all they wanted. just let me add that this is a db/science hill thread, but saying that the wiiner of the d-b and science hill game is the "Big East Champs" is only half right. If D-B wins then D-B is Big East champs, but if Science Hill wins Jefferson County is Big East champs by the head-to-head win Jefferson County has over Science Hill. So all of us here in Patriots country say "GO TOPPERS".

Morristown's win was against Cocke County 42-6, which by the way is a region game. South Greene is a AA team. Know what your info. before you type.

Hey JHite : once again a morristown fan sees the ending of a game the way they want to see it, which is not at all. The TSSAA has cleared Scooter Houston and Aaron Carson of any wrong doing, as in throwing any punches at any West players. As as far coach Meadows being classless, BOY that is calling the kettle black!! I wintnessed last year coach Woods cussing a referee at the JV game and for some reason getting away with it. I put coach Woods in the same classification as coach Jim Swafford of South Doyle, they are two of a kind. There were no Jefferson County coaches tearing down any signs on the fence, maybe a fan but not a coach, fans will be fans. I also understand that #98,pee wee Fanney stuck his finger in coach meadows face and called him an S.O.B. Thats real class for you !!! As far as the team running out on the field to start something (BOGUS)!! Everyone thought that the game was over and did not notice the clock had stopped. So Trojan fans all your hopes and dreams of a Jefferson county player not playing this week just went up in smoke (POOF)!!!! If any player should have been thrown out of the game it was #98 when threw an elbow and then a knee on Parker Clement"s head when he was down on the ground. The only reason you hoped and prayed that a Patriot was being thrown out was the fact that the so called best defense in history of Trojan football was NOT !!! GO PATRIOTS!!!

Lets get this crap straight, coach meadows never said all the garbage you say that some teachers told you, because he never talks that stuff to anyone let alone some teachers. Is your sole reason for this is to give moristown west some message board hype so maybe they can feed off this and somehow use it to their advantage? I didn't know they needed an advantage. AREN'T THEY THE MIGHTY TROJANS? I also doubt that any player told you any thing about Jefferson Co. putting a big 0 on West.
