I don't know how many football players they're missing if any but Farragut didn't look very good Saturday at Karns. Might just have been an off game though who knows. Good luck to them anyway this season.
Does Austin East have any football players that haven't been able to join the basketball guys yet? If so how many. By the way it looks if they do have any in football they wont be back for a quite a while by the way they have been playing lately.
Coalfield- I know they were real big last year but didn't have a clue to what they were doing. Don't remember how many of them big boys they lost but if they act the way they did last year they will be the same or even worse. That coach has to get some discipline on that team for them to do anything.
Sunbright- Pretty sure they didn't have anyone coming up to help them so don't look for them to be a factor.
Oakdale- Will be the same Oakdale just not enough athletes in the school for them to put and average team together especially with them having to play some of the teams they do.
Oneida- Could and should be the most improved team from last year. They always have good size, must be something in the water up there. Hopefully the new coach will get them under control and have them going forward this year.
3A will come down between White Station and Bradley again this year. No doubt about it. Although Ridgeway moved up to 3A and is in the same district with White Station but I don't see them defeating the Spartans this year. Well not when it counts anyway. 2A will be very intereting, You would think Giles county would repeat with Tyler Smith coming back(best player in state). Wouldn't surprise me to see both Fulton and Austin East back in Mboro in March. And 1A will probably be won again by a private school as it has been for like the last 100 or so years. Or at least it seems it.
Harriman only lost 1 player last year which was Payne. But with the kids they have coming up they should be just as good. They have a much tougher schedule this year also. Rockwood lost Gallaher and a few bench players also i think. They should be tough but not like the last 2 years. Wartburg will be nothing like last year. They lost several good players and it will be hard for them to finish 4th in the district. Cosby in 3A lost like 7 seniors all of who got playing time so they will be way down this year opposed to last year. So i don't look for them to soar very far.
With this game meaning jack in the region standings. It wouldn't surprise me to see starters pulled out of the game early and when that happens the winning factor will be the bench. So who has the better bench?
I was at the AE/Crockett game 2 years ago. It was a very good game, i remember something weird happening at the end of the game. Can anyone refresh my memory?
There are several people at Harriman that I can think of that could fit the description of being ignorant, not knowing what they're talking about, and so stupid their funny. So just which one are you referring to? haha
If Whitwell can pull this one off it will be a huge win for their school. Beating a team like Notre Dame, even though they're not that good this year it's still a big name school.
