Central is very talented. 25 in the backfield is a handful. QB had a very good handle on the offense. Seemed to be at mid season form getting all play calls from the sideline at the first scrimmage. QB read it well and threw it well. Seriously accurate in the short passing game, not bad deep, but really on point hitting kids in stride on the swing routes and bubbles. Very athletic at the skill positions. Defensively, 3 is much man and a real disruptive presence up front. 11 at LB is good as well. Everyone they play will have to scheme those 2 guys. Defensive backfield is athletic. Looks to be a solid group. Well coached and a good motor. Can’t really say anything weak about the Bobcats. We are young and needed to “compete” in the face of some dudes. Central brought a good solid football team and I felt like our kids competed. It was a good solid fun night! Looking forward to getting a chance to compete and get better at Anderson Co Friday night. Excited to see that megaton!

This is absolutely completely incorrect. Coach Colobro told him that there was no reason to hit him that hard. There was nothing else. No cursing. Nothing about watching where he was going. He told the guy...”there was no need for you to hit me that hard.” The ref dropped his flag immediately and ran to the white hat. There was no exchange between them and certainly no bad language at all.

Bradley's field and stadium is top notch! Visitors dressing room is nine miles from anything, but the field and stadium are a great setting for football. The BBQ place in Cleveland may very well be worth the trip...but if ya get to the stadium and are still hungry, the baseball coach does a BBQ fundraiser up behind the scoreboard that is second to none! Smoked Bologna??? Freakin amazing! Hated to lose down there but enjoyed the experience.

Much respect to both programs. Smoky Bears in a great game. sc athletic enough in the Defensive backfield to compete (not stop or shut down) with the OR receivers. Might come down to OR running game vs. SC D line...neither a strength. Deuce will score as will Tee...ought to be another fantastic night celebrating some really talented kids! Y'all have fun watching!

I have no dog in the fight. I have no fight w you Powellphoto. I'm not suggesting that the wrong team necessarily won. Whitehaven made plenty of plays to win the game. I mean no disrespect to the Tigers or their title. Well earned and deserved. The two pt conversion to win the game is plenty to claim the win and celebrate the championship. My fuss is with grown men that can't do their job and are in a position of influencing a State Final contest and don't know what they are doing. I've got the thing on paused on my television. There is no lineman anywhere close to being downfield...been doing this for a long long time. That man ought to have to answer to his superiors, to the coaches and public for his incompetence.

I hope the official that called ineligible down field on the 2 pt conversion has to watch the film and explain his call. That is very sad. Congrats to Whitehaven. They played great and certainly had nothing to do with the call...

Sure miss practicing. Hope I can survive tomorrow night without a game. It's been a good year, best of luck to you guys finishing it out. Much to be proud of and much to play for! Enjoy! I've not had the pleasure to see Siegel, but Maryville earned my respect last week. So I have no prediction, but I reckon I'll have to declare for the Rebs! Would love to see this spectacle! Designed play...the option back is already split wide. Its just a long pitch. Ordinarily, the pitch happens further downfield. Maryville had a little something to do with it looking a bit awkward...and thus you didnt see it again. Great atmoshpere for a great game. A celebration of the hard work of young people on both sides of the field! I was honored to have been a part of it. Would be nice to do it on a more regular basis! Good Luck to the Rebs! Wow! Must have been a doozy. Saw Pats in 7v7. Much improved on defense, more athletic than in recent years. I knew that would be a good one! Congrats to both.

All I can say is that if we did not have a date in Death Valley, I'd drive to Dumplin Valley for this one. Might still be lopsided, but JC is on the way. Ought to be a fun one!

I really don't know the situation, but I have come to know the West coaching staff a bit over the last several years. I trust that they will do what is best for the team and these kids. These coaches, not all but most, really have the kids best interest at heart. Some of them NEED sport a lot more than sport needs them. 3 to 4 hours of practice time and a coach or two that checks up on them is better than all of that free time and no responsibility each day...sometimes the wins and losses just aren't as important as the kid! I don't know the whole story and won't pretend to, but some topics are hard to understand without knowing the whole story. Kep an open mind here.
