I agree. When I wrestled in NC 1a/2a was together and then you had 3a and 4a. 1a/2a was really tough which made it fun. I believe they will have to combine classes for wrestling.

NC is 3 days starting the 15th. 1a starts on the 16th. Finals is on the 17th Saturday. I’ll go watch Saturday finals. They do a pretty good job putting on a good show and tournament. Got 2 kids going for 4 time state champions. Cam Stinson in 4a undefeated record in high school UNC commit. Kage Williams in 1a only loss in high school was a medical forfeit App St commit.

NC wrestling is going to be really interesting when they go to 8 classes. Have no clue how they will do it. 1a in NC only has 8 kids in the individual state bracket. 2a, 3a and 4a get 16 kids in each class right now. Individual states is Saturday at the Greensboro Coliseum.

I didn’t realize Little signed with App St. That’s awesome. Coach Bentley is a great coach. Little could be an All American at App St.

Yeah it was as a boarding student I would guess. That was in 2020 when he got accepted.

His only loss in high school was an injury forfeit at the Holy Angels in 2021 in the finals. He got hurt in the semis. Baylor High School offered him in when he was in 8th grade

His cousin is getting ready to win his 4th state championship in NC and is committed to App St.

Yes. It will be my sons last year playing. We need a RB. If the Samuel kid comes back that is from Alabama at WR the offense will be good. He didn’t play last year. His Freshman year he was really good. The losses 2 was by combined 9 points.

Nolensville is doing well at the Gate City Grapple in Greensboro,NC they are currently in 2nd place .5 points out of 1st.
