Midway shouldn't surprise anyone anymore. They have been in the hunt for first since Moser took over. He is a great football coach. They should give Rockwood a good game, but i look for the Tigers to pull it out.

Jody did resign, he will finish out the year. I hate it. He is taking all of the heat and it's a shame. I'm sure some of you are loving, but be careful what you wish for because you never know who will be the next head honcho over there.

FBS not everyone who "works for Kingston" agrees with the punishment handed down to these players. I'm sure some of the faculty disagees, and I know alot of people in the community disagree. Please do not place this on everyone in Kingston because there are a very select few in charge.

Rockwood by 21. Heard O'Toole was out for a while with an injury. If he was there I would say this would be Midways best chane at Rockwood since 2000 ,I think, when they had McClure and that bunch. Still would be Rockwood by 6 though.

White County is getting an excellent coach in Eric Mitchell. He has outstanding knowledge of the game, a great work ethic, and is also a great guy. I bet Loudon hates to see him go. He won alot more games than he should have this year with the Loudon boys, nothing against them, but they were outmatched in most of the games they played in both size and talent.

Nobody has really said anything about Midway, but I believe they have most everyone bck from last years team.

O.S. basketball does look promising, but I wouldn't look for a run at the state until the little Christopher girl that is currently a 7th grader is at least a Sophomore. Hackworth , Monk, and Smith are good and one of the eighth graders may help later on , but they lack the ability to take over a game like Hall could. Hall did so many things other than scoring. Tia Goins is a big loss too. O.S. should still win the district, but it won't be a cakewalk. Kingston will struggle because of their lack of ballhandling. Loudon will have to find a scorer. I'm not sure what Fulton, A.E., and Seymour have coming back. How do you see the Roane Co. teams stacking up next year OS91 ?

Was Watson better than Beechboard? You can't say anyone who scores 2550 points is no good. You have to be good to score that many.

Typical Rockwood fans,make it to the state and then start bashing the coach. It's just like Coach K was quoted saying in the newspaper after the region championship game, I believe, it went something like this Today I am the greatest thing around, but one loss on Mon in the substate and the fans will want my head. That previous post was ridiculous, not to mention embarrassing. CPA has more talent than Rockwood and although I don't agree with everything Coach K does, this is one of the most successful seasons Rockwood has had in a long time. That is a great group of kids who are great athletes, and they have done a lot for this town. It wouldn't surprise me if we had won the state if someone hadn't gotten on here and started bashing the coach.

You are definitely CRAZY. Seymour will roll, Kingston over Fulton, OS over AE and Fulton, and Alcoa over Loudon.

Coalfield over CAK by 20 Cosby-Harriman will be close but I'll take Cosby by 2 (what was up with Harriman against Wartburg??) Wartburg over Greenback by 6 Oneida over Midway by 20

From what I've been told, the bleachers were roped off because the principal at Loudon couldn't be at the game so he requested they be pushed in because there is such bad blood between the two teams.

Midway's region is a joke, with the exception of Cosby and Greenback, two quality teams. Midway and CAK should not be in the region tournament. There needs to be more quality teams added to this district. The other district is so evenly matched right now, it could be any one of those teams or the before mentioned two teams from the other district to win it. Its a shame that Sunbright is at home and Midway and CAK are playing. Nothing against those teams and players, but they are not deserving of a region game simply because they can beat TSD.

I agree BBALLTN, they do not have much talent, but they seem to play hard. Almost knocked a good L.C. team the other night.

I hate to brag on O.S., but they , as usual, have a good player coming up in the Barger girl, but look out for the Christopher girl in a few years. She is only a seventh grader,but she can flat out play.

Is Scott Co. not happy with the coaches record or is she just leaving? There has been alot of talent in the past. That would be a great program for any of the above mentioned coaches to take over. Where did the current coach, coach before coming to Scott?

Goose, can you list the all district players from Roane Co? . Also did Hall get player of the year for the girls, that kind of a no brainer, but who made all district for the girls?

I would like to second that congratulations. It's nice to see Teddy Chatman out there playing again also. She is a player and will definitly help them.

It doesn't matter if a team wins by 75, 20, 5, or 1 in quadruple overtime and everyone, none, 5, 10 or 12 players play, someone (particulary parents) are going to complain. My advice to the coach. Ignore everyone, except the players, and do not try to please everyone because it is virtually impossible. Congrats to the OMS Indians and the OSMS Bobcats. It should be a good game.
