  1. I think Coach Rudesill really loves living in Bolivar. If money was an issue he would have been gone a long time ago. Bolivar is a great high school basketball town. I believe that it will take a very special college job to lure Rick away from Bolivar. That's my 2 cents.
  2. Where is Jerry Houston , I know that he left Mississippi State last year. There was another big guy that played with him at East, where did he go to college?
  3. Rudesill can sit during games because his teams are coached during practice and not games. He really does a good job of teaching the game and his teams are usually in great shape physically.
  4. Bolivar wil reload in year 01 AW(After Wille). Bolivar is and has always been a hot bed for hoops. They have Jeremey Rhodes who I think will break out into a superstar this year, Chris Reaves, Monterio Crisp, Presley Griggs, and a young kid name Mitch Ross( a sleeper) and they had a very good freshman team last year. The one constant that Bolivar has after Willie, Olajuwon, Chism,Lake,Walker, Becton, Murrell, and Robinson is Rick Rudesill who in my opinion is one of the best high school coaches in the state, maybe second only to Terry Tippett in Memphis. There will be no re- building in Bolivar, they will just reload.
  5. Bolivar has been here before and experience barring foul trouble + an injury to one of Bolivar's big 2 equals a 3 peat. (GOLD BALL) Bolivar by 7
  6. Bolivar by 3. Willie, Willie,Willie______________________________________etc.
  7. I think Wllie & Wayne are the best duo in the state ,but they have to play whole lot of minutes. In years past the supporting cast was much better at Bolivar Lake, Walker, Becton ,Murrell, & Robinson. I will say this though that the young guys that are playing will continue to carry on a great tradition of quality basketball that has been part of Hardeman county long before the Willie & Wayne Show.
  8. I think that Loe is tremendous talent, but I also believe that he is a kid that has his priorties in order. D1 basketball is tougher than going to a 9 to 5 if you are doing everything that you suppose to be doing practice, weight training, & let's not forget going to class taking a full load. I applaud Loe for putting family first.
  9. If Chism plays Bolivar blows Mitchell out . I was very disapioneted in Mitchell's play with all of the hype about their team. Bolivar will three peat, if they do not have any injuries to Kemp & Chism.
  10. Does anyone have the pool play scheduels?
  11. Does anyone know where Hooper went to school, he was Andre Allen's running mate at BTW in Memphis.
  12. That is correct Bolivar has beaten the Pharoahs the last 3 times that they have played and after today it will be 4 in a row. I am from Memphis also, but I think that publicity(hype) does not translate to who is the best team. I have seen most of these kids from the time that they were playing 11 under AAU, including the Bolivar guys (Whiteville Falcons) and the Bolivar guys have consistantly beat the Memphis guys ( Raleigh Egypt). Bolivar by 3 go Willie go.
  13. BOLIVAR COULD BE GOING FOR IT'S 3RD STRAIGHT IF NOT FOR A DISPUTED HALF COURT SHOT AT THE BUZZER AT GILES COUNTY 2 YEARS AGO. I DO NOT THINK THAT THERE IS MUCH DOUBT ABOUT MR BASKETBALL (AA) IN THE EYES OF THE REAL BASKETBALL FANS. WILIE WILLIE WILLIE. I FOR ONE REALLY THOUGHT THE ABSENCE OF LAKE,BECTON, & WALKER WOULD KEEP THIS TEAM FROM REPEATING, BUT CHISM HAS BLENDED IN MUCH BETTER THAN I THOUGHT HE WOULD. GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Hardeman County is basketball country & they will continue to produce championship basketball teams,as long as Rick Rudesill coaches Bolivar. Bolivar did not just get good when Willie Kemp got there .
  15. Bolivar by 5 & then the real championship with Raleigh Egypt.
  16. I GUESS I WAS WRONG I SAID BOLIVAR BY 3 AND THEY BEAT THEM BY 4. BOLIVAR IS A WELL COACHED TEAM AND THE AREA IS JUST WILD ABOUT BASKETBALL. AS LONG AS RUDESILL STAYS IN BOLIVAR THEY WILL ALWAYS FIELD GOOD TEAMS. WHEN YOU LOSE PLAYERS LIKE LAKE, BECTON & WALKER & CONTINUE TO PLAY AT THIS LEVEL YOU HAVE TO SAY WHAT IS THE CONSTANT HERE & THAT IS COACH RUDESILL. WILLIE IS A ONCE IN LIFETIME KIND OF PLAYER , BUT RUDESILL WAS WINNING BEFORE WILLIE EVER PLAYED FOR BOLIVAR.
  17. I KNOW THAT WHAT HAPPENED LAST YEAR IS IN THE PAST, BUT BOLIVAR DID BEAT RALEIGH EGYPT TWICE LAST YEAR AND THAT PHAROAH TEAM WAS MUCH BETTER THAN THIS ONE. BOLIVAR IS MISSING SOME KEY PLAYERS ALSO FROM LAST YEAR, BUT I BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE BEGINNING TO MESH WITH THE NEW PARTS. BOLIVAR BY 3.
  18. I THINK THAT A LOT OF D-1 COACHES ARE GOING TO WONDER WHAT WERE THEY THINKING ABOUT WHEN THEY PASSED ON BRIAN LAKE. I HAVE NOT SEEN ANYBODY THAT THE U OF M HAS SIGNED THIS YEAR THAT IS AS GOOD AS MR.LAKE. I JUST HOPE THAT HE GET'S AN OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY THE TIGERS BEFORE HIS COLLEGE CAREER IS OVER.
