North Side is AA, they were reclassified this year.

You have got to be kidding. This game was played at Union and home "Cooking" is far from the truth. At one time the fouls were 10 - 2 in favor of McNairy. McNairy was shooting double bonus way before NS even got a bonus. Take your lose. No one thought NS was going to have anything with Brooks, Penn, Spencer all leaving. But surprise, surprise.

1. NorthSide 2. Martin Westview 3. McNairy Central 4. Gleason 5. Milan 6. Haywood Co. 7. Gibson Co. 8. Chester Co. 9. Liberty 10. Union City I find it very hard to understand how people are putting McNairy ahead of NorthSide when NorthSide beat them. My logic for NorthSide ahead of Westview: NorthSide beat Haywood (at Haywood) by atleast 12 and Haywood beat Westview. Oh, well, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Here is mine.

The Lady Indians have been hit with the injury bug also. Hopefully they will be able to come out successful this week. They seemed to be able to step it up when they need to. Good luck Ladies.

Can someone please explain how McNairy is ahead of North Side when they both have only 1 loss, but North Side beat McNairy. Oh, well, we all know that those polls don't mean squat. It just what "8" teams make it to the Boro. However, West Tennessee showed up well in the polls. One team everyone should not overlook is Memphis Hillcrest. Saw them during the Christmas break. A lot of talent.

North Side tried to schedule a preseason scrimmage with Westview and they declined. They tried several times to actually schedule a game with Milan, but no one from Milan would even return the call. The Lady Indians are more than ready to play both of these teams. Post season should be very exciting.

Jackson North Side is AA. They did beat McNairy without Crayton during the Christmas tourney, but then they only shot 29% and still managed a win. Say what you what to. The Lady Indians are for real.

I know that Coach Lott and a couple of his players were at Southside when we played there on the 20th. Saw him and also talked with him.

Does anyone know the outcome of Haywood vs Covington girls games?

So sorry to hear this news. Even though NS and D'Burg are big rivals I hate to see any athlete go down. Our prayers are for a speedy recovery. We hope to see you back on the court fighting with those girls from NS soon. This is a good competitive rivarly and all the girls for NS say "Get Back Soon."

The only thing that High school teams can do before today was condition and have open facilities. They should not have been scrimmaging. And they defintely should not be talking about it on an open forum.

Lowery did start, just has he has for the last 2 years. He jammed his throwing hand thumb and was having trouble grasping the football. He told his coach and his coach put in the back up. He did however remain in the game as a wide receiver. The trainer worked with him at half time and he went back in 3rd quarter as QB. Did a good job. Get NS some coaches to work with these talented players and maybe they will have a winning season. Good luck to Henry Co. You have a great team.

Lowery and a wide receiver named Carmichael play. There are a couple of younger guys that made the team, but not really sure how much they will contribute this year. Carmichael plays middle infield and Lowery pitches and plays middle infield and centerfield.

Cole and Coleman are Seniors. #28 is also. The rest of the offense is Juniors or Sophomores. Lowery is a Junior. Center #58 is Junior, #74 Smith is also Junior. We have 12 seniors counting managers and water boys, Only 4 of those will see action on Friday night. Either injuries or just do not start. We will be losing a few starters on defense, but as our record indicates that won't be much of a loss because we haven't done anything on defense this year. We just hope that we come out injury free and can move on to next year. Also, maybe we can add a couple of assistant coaches to help with the talent that we have.

NS is not average in size and they are not full of Seniors. Their offensive line is all Juniors and they average well over 230. NS has been in every game they have played in except two. They could easily be 6-3 or even better. I would like to give credit where credit is due. NS has fewer coaches than any school in Jackson. They only have two assistants and 1 head coach for varsity. It is hard to teach 70 kids a skill with just 3 people. NS deserves some respect. I would like to say how proud of the NS Indians I am and to Hold your Head High.

And JAXONCM, as for the grades how many honor students are there on JCM's team. North Side only had 2 Fs on their entire team at mid term this semester. ANd these are not just "Public" school classes. These are "Honor classes" that alot of the players are taking. Kids making in the high 20's and 30 on their ACT. Don't knock a good thing. This is my last reply to you, you are not even worthy of a future reply.

And we wonder why kids act the way they do sometimes. God help if you are or ever do become a parent. What a role model. I still believe there are alot of good kids out there and they are at both schools. Sorry you don't.

It really gets me angry when a "FAN" or alumni as they call themselves talks negatively about their team. These players bust their butts everyday in practice and nobody wants to win or improve more than they do. So when a "FAN" talks about them "stinking" he needs to remember that these are 15, 16, 17, 18 year old kids. Being a parent, former player, alumni, etc, I will never talk about a young player who is dedicating himself to his school and going the extra effort to try and make himself better and also his team. Atleast they are not out on the streets doing who knows what and getting into trouble. ALso remember they must make the grades in order to play. So they must be learning academics also. Let's keep that ole saying, If you can't say something good, then just keep quiet. You are talking about someone's son. And just to let you know, No Indians stink. Good luck Indians. The NS fans are proud of you. Sorry I cannot say as much for the Cougar fans. But I am sure that JAXONCM is an exception to the JCM fans. They have some great fans also. Let's keep this rivalry good, and may the team that performs the best on Friday night, WIN.

To say that NS stinks, is a grave mistake. NS doesn't stink. They are still young with the exception of Coleman and Cole who are seniors. Just keep talking JCM. Sometimes your mouth can overload your butt. Don't underestimate the Indians. They have been in every game they have played this year. Just a couple of young mistakes taken away and they could easily be 4-1. It is a shame when a teams own fans make a comment that they stink also. Great fan support. We love our Indians regardless of their record. GO BIG BLUE!

Can the NS Indians pull the BIG upset and beat Hardin Co. this week? They have played really well the last 3 weeks. Any thoughts?

North Side may surprise a few people. They had a rough year last year but they played ALOT of Sophomores and Freshmen. Their QB is returning and will only be a Junior and he has a full year of experience under his belt since he started last year. Go Indians.

The Henry Co. game against Jackson North Side is incorrect. It should be October 28 at Henry Co.

NS is 1-3. 1 Win against JCM and 2 losses against Dyersburg and 1 against Hardin Co.

That is incorrect. NS still has a game to play with Hardin Co and also JCM.
