Wrong thread post LOL but two games I think will be good ones: McNairy at Crockett: I'm taking Crockett obviously, but I think McNairy makes it very interesting, as Crockett really doesn't have a matchup for Wade-Warren. I expect the Lady Cavs to press early and often to try and turn over the Lady Bobcats. If McNairy can rebound and limit turnovers, Crockett may sweat the entire game. Dyersburg at Lexington: this one will come down to whoever makes enough shots to win. Dyersburg has been hot and cold all year, ditto for Lexington. If Dyersburg plays at their pace, they win. If Lexington can get Taylor and Beard going early, and the Lady Trojans get in foul trouble, the Lady Tigers could take this game.

Westview over Chester by 10 Lexington over Dyersburg by 5 Crockett over McNairy by 11 South Side over Obion by 25 Westview over LEX by 13 SS over Crockett by 7 Westview-SS in region championship.

That TCA and Dresden game is gonna be a classic. I don't know if Dresden has the depth, BUT in the region weird things happen......

Great semifinal games tonight!!!!!! McNairy gave South Side everything they could handle and Lexington pulled off the upset of Chester County. The stars showed out tonight. Miller with 40 and Wade-Warren with 29. Excellent play by all 4 teams.

I watch a LOT of girls high school basketball in the area and a good evaluator when it comes to talent and I agree Wade-Warren is the best college prospect in the district and Miller is a close second behind her. Size may be a issue, but in terms of scoring and being active defensively, she checks those boxes. Also I'm not sure it's anyone in this region that can cover her one on one.

D1 interest means just that: INTEREST. Where are the offers????? Like a scholarship offer.

Name those offers my man???? Other than Eastern Kentucky (who pulled when the coach left) and UTM (I heard it was just interest) His best bet is the JUCO route.

Haywood has ONE D1 player and that's the big kid. He's probably OVC or SWAC/MEAC. When he gets some real coaching he's gonna take off. Boyd ain't D1, some of y'all Haywood fans not realistic. What does he do other than being a volume scorer with a broken shot???? Doesn't make others better

I have mixed emotions on this: I want it, because I think teams need to play at a fast, controlled tempo on occasions, BUT at the same time, the smaller schools with no depth wouldn't have a chance anymore. Pros and cons to it.

Weathers is better than Chloe......plain and simple. NOW that's not taking anything from Chloe because she is great in her own right. But it's a BIG difference when one is a freshman and has SEC offers and one a junior and her offers are from the OVC.......

Game of the week in West TN: Chester County at South Side on Tuesday night. Winner in sole possession of first place. Expecting a good crowd.

Looking at the district now, Westview is having a phenomenal season. They got picked to finish 5th, and now it looks like they may very well wrangle that 1 seed from SG. I saw them, and they don't jump out at you although they have some good shooters.
