How many people in life are they going to come across that they don't like? How about having some guts and learning to work with others a little bit? I guarantee you that no matter what the record is in the regular season, this team won't make it past the 1st round of the region tournament, if they can even get that far. When the chips are down, they'll quit, and mommy and daddy will say its somebody else's fault.

Transferring is different that just quitting.

I think the parents should be embarrassed that they allowed the girls to quit in the first place, whether they liked the coach or not.

How big would a city need to be to be considered urban? Obviously everybody would agree that Knoxville, Chattanooga, Nashville, Memphis would be urban. What's next? Johnson City, Bristol, Cookeville, Murfreesboro, Dickson, Columbia, Jackson, Dyersburg, Martin? More than that? Less? And would it just be schools inside the city? county? Within 50 miles? I love the idea of splitting rural and urban but how do you qualify the schools? I don't think enrollment alone divides urban and rural. For example, I think Hardin County would be a rural area but their enrollment currently has then in 4A in football, and they have been 5A for several years.

Rural vs Metro is a better discussion and/or split. That would also take care of the privates as well (is there any private schools in TN that would not be considered to be in a large city?)

If Dyer Co / Dyersburg don't pay well, then ............................ Why are there 5 assistants sitting on McCord's benches? No other HS in West TN has that many assistant coaches for either girls or boys, much less both. Why is Coffman taking a huge pay cut to go to Riverdale? Rutherford Co is supposed to be one of the highest paying.

Why are people holding it against Barrett that he was suspended? What if he had been outright fired instead? Would it be okay that another school hired him then? The suspension was a spiteful measure by a superintendent who couldn't care less about sports.

I think Hudson, Courtney, Wyatt are ridiculous. Why would any of them leave for a lateral or lower job?Pope is interesting, but as well as DC pays I doubt it.
