What some of yall don't realize 90% of the time it has to do with the middle school football coaches. I know some personally who sends kids oUT of zone because he wants them to succeed and get away from there friends. I heard him say multiple times when he visits a certain high school he gets tired of seeing his boys not playing anymore and getting caught up in other things. Now everywhere ain't the same especially when you get in the sticks.

But see its more then football. Stratford, EastNash,Maplewood, whitesCreek could be all having a bad year but it's a inner city rivalry and the game will be packed. Most of the parents, coaches and Kids know each other so leading up to games are alot of friendly trash talk. Then you have the bands going back and forth"Which are the type of band y'all don't see" in the stands then halftime. No matter how good anybody in the district gets mins maplewood, folks in Nashville will only come to inner city games. For example East Nashville and PC was played at Vanderbilt last year. IT WA PACKED. Est. 7,ooo people was there. Pc play Hillsboro at vandy the first game of the year. There est. About 10,000. If you where going to school at Kenwood and If you had to choose between Rossview and Creekwood 9 outta 10 would cHoose Rossview.

I can understand that but it's hard preparing for PC and around that time of year is when Pc is hitting on all 10 cylinder. I'm going to miss playing Maplewood at the end of the year plus I'm not a fan of of the district. I enjoyed our rivalry games.

Very tru...The cure to get kids in metro is winning and coaches who relate. Even then you still have a few players who dart for private schools then end back up in metro schools after a year or two. Now about the splits each split has flaws. If you do the open/ rural split which the rural county's want they would have to travel alot more then the open zone schools. What I was reading a couple days ago Metro Nashville itself would be all considered openzones - a few. Now the private public thing its kinda crazy. I'm just going to say Cpa. I love playing them when we do and in football they can be beat. But when it comes to basketball baseball soccer tennis ping pong whatever they are going to win and there's nothing that and we can do about it. They have the height, resources coaches everything you need to be successful.
