  1. Highest finish in AAA for Wilco since then. Nolensville and Fairview have both had runner up finishes the last two seasons in A/AA and Fairview won A/AA this year. Some quality wrestling in Williamson County these days.
  2. They don’t get stars because they don’t have the physical measurements to play at the DI power 5 level. Genetics plays a large role in recruitment.
  3. Will tickets be made available for these tournaments?
  4. Anyone know what A/AA looks like? I feel like they have some quality teams that could computer with these AAA teams.
  5. I believe it is based off last years finishes at state, correct?
  6. Well we have the Jackass of the year award already awarded in 2021. Congratulations.
  7. You are the one that asked why would there be limited ticket sales not me.
  8. The state of Tennessee may of lifted the executive order but the TSSAA still has their guidelines in place and add on top of that local orders and tickets will be limited for all events this winter at the TSSAA championships.
  9. TSSAA still has to abide by the guidelines of the host venues and local authorities where those venues are located. It is not feasible to have the traditional amount of teams and wrestlers as previous years.
  10. Agreed. The duals are taking place in Williamson County Schools which I believe was still limiting capacity before Gov. Lee’s orders. No way it is a packed gym.
  11. Well we don’t shy away from competition and moan about geography. The realization is the change of districts had to be made to balance out districts across the state.
  12. Plenty of logic in why this was done. The West Tennessee crybabies want to run from competition in Middle Tennessee.
  13. You can’t keep pushing it back. It is what it is. Wrestle with who you have eligible, no matter when you hold the tournaments it will be an issue.
  14. Do you realize he was the 2013 Broyles Award winner for top assistant in college football? For being Defensive Coordinator for the National Champion Florida State Seminoles who only returned 3 defensive starters when he took the job. He goes to Georgia as DC for two years and then to Bama after Smart get the UGA job. Like I said before he can coach football however he is not a HC/CEO type.
  15. This is accurate. A coaching friend of mine calls it Grassland High. The zoning is horrendous in that county.
  16. Executive Order extended through Feb. 27th Good news for grandparents, bad news for cheerleaders and dance team members.
  17. That is what I am thinking as well. Nothing from TSSAA either.
  18. Today Gov. Lee’s executive order is set to expire limiting attendance at HS events. Has anyone seen if this order will be extended? We are about to get into tournament time.
  19. I have been wondering the same thing myself. To me it seems like he would not be eligible but who knows in times like these?
  20. How many high school coaches have constructed national championship level defenses at multiple schools? Mediocre SEC HC? Absolutely. But to act like the man is not a quality football coach is ludicrous. Some coaches are made to be coordinators and Pruitt is one of them. Also no one remembers him from Two-A-Days on MTB.
  21. Why? Plenty of girls available to play still in the fall.
  22. Really wish the TSSAA would jump on this bandwagon. Seems very low cost to schools and a great opportunity like you said to grow the sport in a different way.
  23. Do you still wear your lettermen jackets on Friday Night and get standing ovations when you enter the stadium?
  24. Love to hear work is happening behind the scenes to make it happen
  25. Your logic doesn’t make any sense. It would be a more controlled setting for a dual state tournament than the individual state tournament.
