If Central snaps directly to Frank Johnson IV all night, Central wins. HV can't load the box to stop him because he can also throw the ball. And it works, SD did it to Central a couple of years ago.

Alcoa may be the best team in the STATE! (All classifications) But this game is going to be interesting. West brings a lot of physicality.

Heritage is playing a heck of a game, Central looks down and getting worse. I made a comment on another thread that speed kills. Only if you know how to use it. Central will be lucky to make the playoffs. Frank Johnson IV can't do it by himself!

If Powell has all their weapons available, just don't see this one staying close.

Not sure I'd call them "not very good" at this point. They haven't played a game yet that all their pieces were on the table (so to speak). IMO if they get everyone playing, it's still them and West in the semis.

oridgecat, I've never picked Clinton for a win (no disrespect to Clinton) my son played for Powell back in the Bruhn and Lee Smith days and we didn't care (again, no disrespect) for them. You have a battle ahead of you tonight with their QB. Good luck!

What has Halls shown you that makes you believe they are a better team than Sevier Co? They have lost to two teams of lesser talent than Sevier Co. has beaten to this point. And they will go to 0-3 tonight. Just asking!

It's the Potts and Bishop show! Couple of things, I'm sure Potts has seen NO contact since the injury. He loves to roll out for extra time. "Contact" has to be in his head on drop backs/roll outs. Powell has shown no signs of stopping the run (granted they've played 2 of the best offenses in East TN) I don't see them stopping Karns, can Karns keep Potts and his receivers under control? This and OR/Clinton are going to be great games to watch tonight. Hard to pick a winner in either game!

Depending on how the Potts' injury plays out at Powell I agree, for now it's wide open. But the winner gets West!

Every coach will come out and say his team is better, do you expect the opposite? I don't know who wins this game, but folks need to pay attention to what the Clinton qb has done to this point. I know, it was against 2 teams that struggle, but 24 for 34 passing, 2 interceptions, 504 yds??? He's quick, moves around very well. He will be a problem for OR! It is going to be a battle, hope I can find some where to watch it.

I thought before the season that Halls might push Central out of 2nd place in the region. After week 2 and seeing last nights games, don't feel that way anymore. Still, other than West, region may suffer some early playoff round loses.
