Really whoever becomes the next coach at South Side really have a good shot at playoffs. That district is terrible.

Jackson North Side: vs Dyer County @ Hardin County vs Lexington @ South Gibson.

I don't know yet. I may be wrong but I don't think nobody is interesting because of what this past fall. North Side and Liberty both went to the Semifinals. JCM and TCA both went to the playoffs, both teams are extremely young and good. USJ goes to Cookeville every 2 out of 3 years. JCS struggle this year. Again, I haven't heard any assisstants in Jackson interesting, so I think Comer is South Side best shot.

True enspecially in 2014, i heard that all the kids want to go to Liberty and JCM. North Side, i dont know yet. South Side, nobody very few are intersting in them. But Liberty and JCM are the two schools that all the kids (including Middle School) wants to go.

In my opinion, it was the best time for Coach Hayes to leave South Side. The team won't go anywhere. I can see them making the playoffs because that district is terrible. The four South Side wins came to JCM, Fayette Ware, Bolivar, and McNairy Central, which combine for a 8-33 record. Im sorry, just don't see this team being good, hope that the new coach can change the future of South Side football.

Dyer Co and Gibson Co will half to be on the list.

Don't know why you guys are treating this as an upset. Liberty went to the quarterfinals of State last year, and you think they are about a .500 team, No. Yes this is a rivalry game, and yes Liberty beat South Side, but its December, wait til February to decide whose better.

ok, I didn't know that he cursed in front of women and childen. Now I do agree with you, using the 4 letter cursed word is totally different then using the GD word. And I do agree, since I am around all Jackson schools for numerous years, things change. More cursing, more skipping out of class, more brining illegal objects to school, and its not just the Jackson schools. I do think the only way to change the society of public schools, if a teacher caught a kid cursed, using the A,B, or F word, ISS for the rest of day + detention, and if the GD and the MF word comes, automatic susp. I do agree what you said on that statement.

Okay? Trust me, i am in the Jackson schools all the time, I hear students cursed 24/7, i am used to that. So your telling me that if a football coached say Mf'ing and the GD word, he should get fired instant? I can tell you this, those players are used to get cursed at, and they are used to get there buts chewed out. Also so you saying that a football coaches across the USA that says the Mf'ing and the GD word should get fired, because if that happens, they're will be a whole lot of coaches that don't have a job. That Liberty coached is not the only one the cursed in the pressbox, they are coaches all over West Tennessee that does that, and some of those coaches was at Covington trying to win on the road (you probably was not sitting near the pressbox at the time). I promise you that football coaches cursed at their players about 20 times a day. Can't believe you haven't heard a coach cursed, even if it was NOT the Mf;ing or the GD word.

Congrats to Mark. On the football field, also in the classroom. Basically going to Ole Miss to learn the playbook early, hopefully seeing him as a freshmen running back on the field at Ole Miss. Huge Freeze got one great kid.

I don't know why somebody will say that if a coach cursed, he should get fired. Players cursed, fans cursed, why not the coaches? Its just something to get there fustration out. I am totally fine with the coaches cursed in a semifinal game.

This is terrible for the town of Decaturville, through what the town has been through with Holly Bobo, Stephen Gant, and now this. Riverside Baseball is the only thing that can keep Decaturville pround. Look what Rhodes had done. Won Single-A state in the past 3 seasons, and went to Boro in the last 4 seasons. The Panthers didn't lose a game in 2010 and 2011, and was name Jackson Sun coached of the year in 2009. I hope that the Riverside baseball team and the town of Decaturville can move forward quickly.

White Station vs. Ridgeway----Bolivar vs. South Side----- Bolivar vs. Liberty-----How about a good one, South Side vs. North Side---TCA vs USJ----- & Melrose vs. Ridgeway/Craigmont/Hamilton/East. They are a couple of very good rivalry games in West Tennessee.

Crockett County will win this disctrict next year, Milan will finish 2nd. Cavaliers will be loaded next year, having Johnny Jones in the backfield, go ahead and announce about 20-25 rushing TD's and about 15-20 receving TD"s its going to happen next year. Milan, again i believe they will finish 2nd, i do think they got a shot to finish 1st, but I will admit, I do not know anything about the Bulldogs. South Gibson. I hate to say this, but how about trading North Side in excange for Ripley? Add USJ and drop Gibson County? And on top of that, how about an much improve TCA Lions team? South Gibson will finish 3-7 and not make the playoffs IMO. To many good opponets aginist a team that lost IMO the 2nd best QB in West Tennessee? Yes Airan Reed will be you main playmaker, but I am sorry Hornets fans, you need to think about 2014, because 2013 is tough.

I think this would be a great thing for TSSAA. I completely hate that teams like Ensworth, MUS, and USJ have to play 13 games a year. Its also comparing Boise State (a few years ago) to Alabama. Boise State play the easy teams and go undefeated, while BAMA will play the hard teams and lose 1 game. And people think Boise is better then BAMA. Also, since I live in West Tennessee, If USJ plays the regular season schedule that Jackson North Side played, USJ would be 5-5/6-4 in that area. A lot of private schools that are currently winning, WILL NOT play the public schools, because they DO NOT want to lose.

I agree, but JCS lost to a good Hardin County team that have all starters start last year. I will say watch out for North Side (AAA), they may not go to state, but they can go to sub-state. North Side had a rough start, missing 3 of 5 starters due to football, but since the football season is over, watch out for them, but i believe they can beat Dyer Co. in February.
