  1. I said it ‘19 too! I hope the HC team is thinking like you are!! They are not the same team that played Dyersburg. Do they have what it takes to beat HC? I don’t know but I do know if HC thinks they are gonna spank DC just because they are HC, you are going to be upset Friday night. Im just saying!!!
  2. Someone tried to tell y’all the first game not to sleep on Dyer County. And y’all laughed and ridiculed me. I think this team answered the naysayers
  3. LOL... Dang y'all are a little sensitive in here. I meant no disrespect honestly. I said " They may still not be on Henry County's level but we will see. " I agree Henry county is the favorite to win this game however all I said was if you overlook them because its DC and you "Always" dominate them then they may surprise you. Henry county is starting a freshman QB that would have been second string at Westview if that's not "down a little" what would be? You have no idea what I know. Seriously.
  4. Dyer County is up this year and apparently Henry Co is down a little. I don't think I'd trash talk much this week you'll end up 0-3 especially if you think you will just walk in and win because it's Dyer County. They are much improved. They may still not be on Henry County's level but we will see.
  5. What??? Really??? It has been a few years since I've been, But I can remember one year watching Huntingdon play for 1A then Milan for 3A and then staying for part of Henry County in 5A. I think it used to be one admission for the day. Or maybe I sneaked by without knowing . Sad they are so money hungry that they want to charge per game. Maybe that is why some of the coaches quit taking the seniors to watch the games.
  6. Ya I know lol . I was just fishing for some trash talk! I still think this will be a much better game than the last.
  7. South Gibson had a triple threat too!! I'm sure that Covington won't be seeing the same Milan team they saw earlier in the year either.
  8. I definitely think this game will be closer than the first meeting. I hope for a good game injury free. The dogs looked a lot better this friday than the previous so i think they will be ready.
  9. Lol! YOU know who Milan is playing!! I even heard from a reliable rumor that they have already "secured" the same refs from the first Milan vs SGC game so you can rest easy MOM. seriously though I hope for a good game but I also know how poorly the dogs played last night and SGC also had to fight from behind so I am sure they will both be ready this friday. I don't think the game will be anywhere near as close as the first meeting.
  10. This was one of the questionable calls that night I agree. I've watched it over and over again and I really can't tell if the ball is out before his elbow touches ground or not. But i disagree with this giving Milan the win, SG would not have been able to run that much clock off especially with your back to your own endzone. Milan would have gotten the ball back. But that's why they play the game. The other questionable call was the horse collar call where the Milan defender had the jersey stretched out 2 yards and the ref called it horse collar and then SGC moved 15 yards with a fresh set of downs. I don't believe this call would have kept Milan from winning either. If you let your game get close enough that a split second ref decision effects the outcome you had already lost. I do hope that SGC folks have moved on and are concentrating on their playoffs. I really hope they are not salivating (for lack of a better word) a rematch with Milan. They really need to take one game at a time to make it to the second or third round or further.
  11. Hope it's a good game. I'm gonna say GC 36-21.
  12. Tie breaker is Head to Head but with a 3 way tie GC, Peabody, and UC all ending the season at 5-1 in the region. The next tie breaker that would work in this situation is overall record which would put Peabody ahead at 9-1, GC next at 8-2, and UC at 6-4, then TCA at 4-6. Of course this is based on my predictions and assuming that the top 3 win out. If any lose a game then the 3way tie would be broken and it would go back to head to head. Also IF TCA were to win out and beat both GC and Peabody they would tie with UC for top spot in the region. UC would have the head to head there. Edit- Unless it is decided that once the top spot is filled then the next 2 teams go back to head to head that would put UC over GC. If peabody and UC wins out I don't see a scenario where Peabody isn't #1 in the region.
  13. I said you guys hadn't played anyone and up until you played Gibson County, You hadn't. Not trying to say anything bad about your team or insinuate anything just stating fact. GC was the first team Peabody played that had a winning record. I also said that the best team Peabody had played up until then was Milan and I was well aware of how they were this year. I am a Milan fan at heart but I also follow GC, Peabody, and SGC around playoff time and will go to whatever game is of interest. I believe that Peabody will win the region with GC, UC, and TCA following.
  14. Man someone is butthurt!! GC knows they aren't a power house team.....But they still beat Peabody, so what's that tell ya? Huntingdon is 1A so neither team will play them in the playoffs, thankfully. This is proof of a lack of knowledge on the subject and you are trolling.
