Well said BigDave....After surveying things I have come to the following conclusion: Each team better bring their A game each and every night during district play or.....they could be hanging an L on the right side of the W / L record.

That's not a very nice thing to say!! I wish both programs nothing but the best seeing as how they play in different classifications!!

Turtle, I hope they are trying to win more than a couple of games--I believe it takes somewhere around 5 victories to win the Gold Ball, not....a couple!!

I mean look at what OS has lost the past few years. Just this past year they graduated Hackworth--a sure fire sparkplug, Monk the bomber, Davis the all around, and Wampler the bounder. Add in the fact my sources tell me that Smith isn't playing and all you have left with any true experience is Brooke Barger and Arielle Lankford. The year before they lost Division I Hall, the exchange student, Brianne Lankford, and others---I'm sure I've left a few out--SORRY!! So....I know the freshman class is loaded, but....Oneida only has their top 8 back from last year, plus Oneida will host the Region, so....Coalfield only lost their MVP, Oakdale has 4 starters returing, Sunbright with McWhorter, Kilby, and Shoemaker coaching, and Wartburg will be Wartburg---Dallas' girls will D it up!! Don't put OS right in that top spot just yet!! Can the Lady Cats win the district?? Yes!! Will they win the district?? Play it out and see!!

I just want to take a minute and wish Coach Heady and his Wildcats the best of luck tonight in their journey to make the 2005 state playoffs.

BBallTN, We've talked at various ballgames, whether it be a Lady Cats BBall game or a Devils baseball game. I get around a little bit these days, not as much as I once did, but...enough to help the old gooseter out a bit in writing an article or two.

Too bad Coach Bilyeu isn't "politically correct!!" I do wish Coach Christopher the best, but.... I'm just a bit disappointed that Coach Sam Bilyeu---with his proven past---was passed over, whatever the various reasons be!!

Scott Co may led overall in the series, but....johnny come lately says the Mavs have won at least the past 4 meetings--2 close and 2 blowouts. Tonight will be no different as AC will ease past the Highlanders.
