preseason scrimmage games?

The QB had only like three practices before the game and played a solid defense. Last year the Owls looked bad in spring game and had a pretty good season. I wouldnt over react to a spring game. They will work all summer at getting better.

I really don't think driving across the state for a state Championship game is a big deal. These are generally once in a lifetime things for most families, unless your Maryville or Alcoa or Ensworth. ETSU has indoor stadium? Right? GHSA was done by GA Public TV as well. But the production was a different level. It was night and day. Sideline reporters, half time coverage, etc. They even brought in HS Goal Post. GHSA probably has a bigger budget. If the games were just shown in HD that would be enough for me.

I've been watching GHSA Championship games after watching TSSAA last weekend. Wow, there is not comparisons in the events. GA Dome (The Venue) HDTV!! (GHSA is like watching an NFL game), TSSAA doesn't offer HDTV? The overall Coverage, announcers and camera angles. Let's go TSSAA! Brian

I'm an Ooltewah fan and I stopped posting because PA was so annoying. I can't imagine how other teams felt about the owls. The truth is most owls fans are not that way. Anyways, rhea was well coached. They exposed the owls weaknesses on defense and played great d. Then the momentum train took over and it became a blow out. It hurt the owls only playing one team with a winning record in the regular season. Maybe PA's son was a senior.

Wow is the DII blog coming back? I'm defiantly not saying McCallie is going to win it. It takes a lot to get to the finish line. However, They put 62 on Ensworth! Did you think you would ever hear that? Baylor is not close in total team talent, but that doesn't mean they don't win.

Yeah, but last years QB #7 did not get near the credit he deserved. He was one of the best I've seen. They lost him and I don't care if they got everyone back. He was a player.
