confucius say...i have seen Riverdale in a couple of 7 on 7's...they are legit this year, SP will have there hands full in that one.

confucius say... all 7 were starters, 1 was kicker/punter, 1 was linebacker/fullback and was injured in the playoffs...the other 5 started on either offensive or defensive lines or both...make no mistake about it though...our line will be very good this upcoming season, and our skills ought to be amazing. And #5 Harper should definitely be getting looks for Mr Football Back...and #9 and #60 should be getting looks for Mr. Football Lineman...imho

confucius say....1996 Trousdale team were 12-0 heading into semifinal game with DCA, and we had outscored opponents 649-35, including a 73-0 win against Ezell Harding in the first round and a 84-15 bashing of Knox Catholic in the second round of playoffs...DCA had Mr. Football Jeremy Lyon, along with all-staters Daniel Daughtery, Ryan McSwain, and Brian Patterson and TC had NO answer for Lyon he dominated us from start to finish, i personally felt like it was one of the best teams we ever had and didn't even make it to the dance!!

confucius say... the real problem in getting the split to happen is letting the 5A and 6A programs and administrators have a say in it...when it really doesn't affect them at all, with 98% of all D1 privates being in A and AA!!! The voting and committees should be set up to reflect this 98% equation, but i'd bet that 50% of them will be from AAA schools.
