So let’s give NFHS exactly what they deserve. They earned and deserve a sound bashing for the god awful job they did carrying the supposed feed for our state tournament. The feed just crapped out during the finals. This has been going on for years. They suck at what they do. The TSSAA needs to demand better or quit letting them rip off the fans. My 11 year old son could do a better job than they are doing.

This feed is garbage.

SD wins A-Region 4. Unfortunately one of their best potential scorers (Flavin) didn’t make weight. Gonna miss his points down the road.

He missed weight. SD still won the region, but missing his points today, next week, and in the state will hurt.

I hear you. The longer this goes on. The madder I get. Literally every other mat is great. Even the girls mats. WTF is the deal.

I have been trying to watch AAA matches all morning on mats 9 and 10. Nothing but a spinning wheel. I can’t believe I paid for this crap.

It is called a Dual meet as in two teams. If you have three teams competing against each other on a given night it is a Tri-meet and if you have 4 teams it is a Quad- meet. I get that Duel sounds cooler but it is actually Dual as in two, meaning two teams.

Does anyone happen to know the Starting time of the region at Bradley Central tonight. Apparently the starting time is a state secret. Publicize this info, just saying.

If you or anyone thinks Region 4 is easy or a cakewalk, then maybe the TSSAA should rotate other teams from around the state year to year and have them join Region 4 for their tournament. It would make region 4 a little tougher for everyone and make it fairer for you guys out there that think the teams in Region 4 are getting an easy ride. Go ahead coaches and schools, who is first to volunteer to join Region 4?

No I am not Mr. Russo. I know Steve and his son Tucker pretty well though. They are both great guys. I was an average wrestler at SD back in the early eighties, when they were still building the program, before they became the powerhouse they are today. I am just a big fan of the sport, especially my alma mater SD. I have followed SD a long time. I am in my forties and unfortunately haven't had any sons in the program yet. I have a son who is almost a year and a half old now. I hope he will take an interest in the sport when he is a little older and If he does I hope I live long enough to see him wrestle at this level. I just love the sport and I am pleased to see the progression of a lot of teams around the state. Its good for the sport as you say even though it makes it a bit tougher for SD to climb to the top of the podium. I love the deeper fields and better competition though. We don't really lack for good rivalries in this area, but good to see some other programs from around the state get in the mix. Good for everyone and makes for better matches for all of us and fuels the debate you see on this site.
