  1. I doubt they are overlooking anyone......not even FRA.
  2. You can keep your Trousdale feather in your hat.....I'm not taking anything away from FCS. BGA will repect them if they play again, but BGA will not "worry" about FCS as a poster mentioned earlier. Webb is a team you worry about.
  3. It's a good article.........I don't think publics are thinking 8-10 years down the road.
  4. http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/sports/columns/story/2015/sep/04/warning-public-schools-be-careful-whyou-wish/323433/
  5. Sounds like depth is an issue with FCS. It's no surprise the line is BGA's weakness this year, no secret. But I doubt BGA will worry about a team they already beat by 16 and have never lost to.
  6. Stalker much? I must really be in your head.....creeper.
  7. Have you seen the cost of MBA? Academics was a priority so BA was out. Ensworth....see MBA! CPA, the drive sucks.
  8. Thats the big rebel flag painted elephant in the room. If they do, don't be surprised if the tution requirement is waived by the school board.
  9. Since Maryville and Alcoa are both open zones, and you had your pick of one or the other, why in the world would a stud athlete pick Alcoa over Maryville? I can understand if a kid looked at both rosters and figures his chances to play are far better at Alcoa than Maryville, I get that. With Maryville having more tradition and playing in a better division, how could this even be a tough choice?
  10. Cmon guys. I leave the country for a week and you let this happen. Anyway......We on the bright side welcome all the new schools to D2.
  11. This is a mid pack Div II team playing a mid pack large public school........always go with the private with that match up....McCallie by 14.
  12. Careful what you wish for. Sir Quareles wouldn't be able to schedule softies like he does now if if you made this move.
  13. Beathard has been strong all summer and looked good against a weak game 1 opponet. BGA by 20.
  14. It would have taken you less time to look up the score in a couple places then it did to post this.
  15. Agreed. But hand it to Ensworth, they have enough confidence in their program to schedule a national power.
  16. This is the 7th girl talk that the TSSAA is tired of hearing about. If you have facts about a true case of recruiting, send it to the TSSAA.
  17. You're right, I gave them more credit than they deserve. So Maryville's toughest scheduled opponet is a 3a school. Got it.
  18. There's a lot of truth in what you said. Maryville is very much like the smartest kid in summer school. You figure the coach would try and throw in a decent opponet with all those creampuffs. And don't give me Alcoa....they are a 4A team that plays a soft schedule too.
  19. I understand the difference in talent levels. But saying a coach can not stop the scoring is ridiculous. I have personaly seen it done several times. 10 passes, headers, backup players...sure. But coaches can not allow their players to go past mid field, work on defence and just clear it towards the other net, no shots or limit shots to outside 30-40 yards. Things can be done.
  20. You're probably right about Baylor being in the lower tier of D2AA. They have a decent team but the D2AA schedule is just brutal with studs on both sides of the ball for every team. Baylor proved that even depth is strong for most of these teams.
