  1. I do know who you are talking about (lol). Thanks for the info!
  2. South Pitt's nursing home at 10??? Sorry, but that's a senior heavy team with a lot of experience. I would have put them at least top 5 with that much experience. Granted, they may play an old school kind of ball but you know they'll grind it out.
  3. According to the article, he also played football for the current Director of Schools at UC.
  4. Other great things for the Falcons as several of them have made their commitments to continue playing at either UTM and at Bethel. Congratulations guys!
  5. Cayden Puckett is also a pretty good QB in his own right. The one time that he and Simpson faced off was their 8th grade year during the middle school playoffs for the TMSAA west sectionals and Puckett had a vastly better game between the two, along with a convincing win.
  6. Pretty sure the stat line of 10 penalties during the game showed that. However, only two for GB is kind of suspect.
  7. Take Lake County for instance. Rounds 1 & 2, they hosted Booker T Washington and MASE, both out of Memphis. BTW brought a grand total 2 fans (bus driver and head coach's wife apparently). MASE brought about 15 fans. With the TSSAA getting their 50% cut of ticket sales, not a lot of money was left to give either team.
  8. What? The throwing or the excuses? The same can be said about GB's defense too in stopping the LC run game. Either way, someone will be happy and someone will be disappointed.
  9. You might need to see a doctor about that....."Calling Dr. Shocker! Calling Dr. Shocker! A Mustang fan is need of a dose!"
  10. Must be a Huntingdon thing to hand out that. The Lake County dose is a measured dose of reality.
  11. When Huntingdon played Lake Co in the middle school jamboree 2 years ago, Cayden Puckett was the QB then.
  12. In reality, the only award that really matters. (Yes, old picture but its the point to be made)
  13. The million dollar field comment is to this statement by you: So obsessed they got the best horse they could find as a mascot....a donkey. I took that statement as an allusion to relative fiscal situation of the two areas. Hence, my comment about the field. You to may be confused my friend, because yes thoroughbreds run up and down the field, yet it is only for a short period of time. Donkeys go for the long haul. The playoffs ain't a sprint, which is why the donkey will still be there, stomping away.
  14. Not sure about a man crush, but you gotta give props to a poster, who with just a single sentence can shut down an argument AND make you laugh at the same time. As far as the affording only a donkey, we are after all Lake County. We don't have the money to afford the million dollar field, let alone thoroughbred race horse. Yet, that same horse you have is made for a sprint, while the donkey is made for work. At the end of the day, the donkey is still standing, working, and stomping while your race horse has already gone to rest at the stable to eat hay.
  15. Not to mention that Tanner also plays linebacker on defense too.
  16. FYI - The #3 team (Greenfield) in Region 7 beat Middle College 34-32 in mid-September. Later in the season Greenfield lost to Lake County 56-0.
  17. Which is why the TSSAA would never do this, because it makes too much sense.
  18. I think LC's middle school team from 2015 should be ahead of the #10 ranked 4th grade team. After all, their only loss came to Memphis Bellevue in the West Tennessee Sectional Finals. That Bellevue team was as big as a lot of 1A teams in the state today.
