Michael was an an assistant coach at McNairy Central. Think he mostly coached on defense. Believe that he runs a 3-3-5. Semiretired and now deceased former McNairy HFC Tommy Browder used to coach the offense on his staff. Wife is a McNairy Central grad.

This region seems to be down last season and the coming season from past level of play. Ripley might take advantage with several returning. Big rb looks good. Covington & Westview lost a lot. Dyersburg rebuilding.

No doubt South Side best in 3A. Hope McNairy can improve to challenge South Gibson in the Region tournament. Several girls played softball all summer. Freshman starter at guard is a high level softball prospect. Only true post is a sophomore playing behind seniors. Team should improve with experience. Also have reigning district MVP.

Looks like Adamsville gonna have rough sailing in this region. Maybe they can upset Peabody.

Maybe should try to schedule Starkville, Ms, won 6A championship yesterday, 48 - 32, return junior qb . They be 7A next season as Ms goes to seven. Enrollment at 1,074 and be in 7A.

McClaine's stats : 185 carries, 1,900 yards, 10.27 average, 30 touchdowns

Will need to slow down senior rb #11 McClaine, 5-9, 180. Looks like he dropped some weight and added some speed this season. Had over 2,300 yards as a sophomore in 2020 behind a mostly senior line. Runs behind #75 - 6-3, 310, #76 - 6-2, 250, #56 - 6-0, 265, #53 - 5-10, 270

In 5A, guy that probably should be on the list, Chance Fitzgerald, wr, 6-3, 190, Nolensville. Having a breakout season similar to the LB, Carter, in 6A.

McNairy returns 5-9 senior Maddie Kirk, think she was district MVP, also need to see how sophomore post developes (almost 6-0), also have a talented freshman (about 5-8).
