Mustangs 24-2 last 2 seasons losing only to state runner up. Tide struggled with Milan. Milan struggled with Huntingdon. Where are your better athletes, I dont see it. Coaching! We sure didn't get beat by a team like Gibson Co.

Shame these two teams dont play. Both teams loaded. I like the Mustangs in a close one. What you Tidsters think?

Mustangs will drop off some after this season but not as.much as some are predicting. Depth will be a problem next year but we have some talented players returning. That group of sophomores you're referring to ended up having a pretty good season after that jamboree whipping. Freshman class this year looks small but 8th, 7th and 6th grade classes are loaded.

This is the deepest Huntingdon team I've ever seen. Dont know how good we'll be but we're 2 deep with solid players at every position. Amazing depth for a 1a team. Our 2nd team is probably a top 10 team. We have 18 seniors many who are 3 year starters. Going to be interesting to see how good this team turns out.

Get ready for region 6 and some long road trips and a more difficult play-off schedule.

Attended lhat West Carroll game. Snyder for sure has a big arm. His long throws seemed to sail on him a bit. Throws the ball with a lot of velocity. He'll burn those hands.

Word over here in Mustang land is that its Huntingdon vs Scott's Hill Aug 16th at the jamboree in Lexington. Mustangs will be basically the same caliber team as last year. What's y'alls expectations over in Lion land?

Rumor mill has MTSU offering Mustangs Ensley in football. We've got a good number of players capable of playing small college football but probably no other D1's unless the light comes on for one of our wr's who has the size and speed, finishing 3rd in the state track meet in 100 meters..

Not confirmed but that's what I'm hearing. Hope it's not true he's the most exciting back I've ever seen.

Huntingdon is loaded at running back even if #7 is not with us. Lots of depth and speed.

You saw Ensley run the ball 30+ times between the tackles against a big_time 1a defense that knew what was coming. Can't judge him on a game like that. He ran wild against everyone else. I would like to compare stats of both QB's last season.

Dresser was probably the best middle school QB I've ever seen. Mustangs beat you 28-27 in 2013. Beat yall 34-6 in 2014 last time we've played. If I remember correctly the Mustangs controlled the ball on the ground with some almost quarter long drives in 2014. Kept Dresser off the field which was the only way we were going to win that game.

Non-region schedule of Milan, Waverly, Camden and Mckenzie is pretty tough. Cornersville's best team 2 years had to play with an injured QB.

Seems like Dresden always has an outstanding middle school quarterback. Dresser Winn's only win over Huntingdon was in middle school. Never beat us in high school. The Lions did not play the Mustangs Dressers senior and championship year.

This should be Huntingdon's best team of the last 3 years. Lots of 3 year starters returning. Good speed, good size and pretty good depth. Pair that with the toughest QB in the state and we should be pretty tough. Only 2 close losses to Cornersville the last 2 seasons and we play the toughest non region schedule in the state each year.

Dresden always has good athletes. Huntingdon plays their middle school every year and they are always loaded. The right coach can bring back this program quickly .
