Watched Huntingdon every game this year and last. I think the Mustangs are a better team this year. Faster and deeper. Haven't seen Cornersville so can't say how good they are. Their fans claim they didn't lose any key players so I assume they are pretty tough.

As far as I know we have 0 transfers to play football. I'm surprised we don't because we really take good care of our players and have the best 1a facilities in the state.

I guess the Mustangs didn't play you a competitive game in your gold ball season. I'm getting old but it's seems like I remember it being a pretty good game.

Mustangs have had some very good teams since we played Gordonsville but no great teams. Great teams get past the 3rd round!

Probably #46. He's a big boy and will hit you. Moore Co held the Mustangs to 7 points in the 1st half last year. I don't think they can do that this year. Mustangs may be a little rusty after 2 Thursday night cupcakes and an open date but I think they will take care of business. Hopefully we have worked on pass defense a little this open date. Our turn and chase pass defense is awful. If you want to beat us throw the ball and run straight at us. Hard to get the edge on us.

Made the trip last night. Long drive and probably a short game. Moore Co played hard but will have a difficult time containing Huntingdons speed. Mt Pleasant has some athletes but is a rag tag bunch.

I'm going to be like the Allman Bros tonight. Gonna ease down hwy 41 to Lynchburg

Lake Co has a very solid team. Huntingdon is faster and deeper. I don't believe the wildcat will be effective against the Mustangs. Our defensive speed has shut down the edge all year. We got to worry about getting past the quarter finals first. Our road to Tiptonville for the semis is a tougher than y'all leisurely drive. Region 5 plays tough hard nosed football and with Cornersville looming in the quarters it's going to be tough. Not saying Lake Co can't beat my Mustangs but the Mustangs are a very explosive team with speed that's gonna be hard to match.

I do to. After 2 Thursday nights at the bakery and an open date I'm ready to play a football game.

Rumor over here in Mustang land is that we are moving up to region 6 2a next season. This came from a school official that should know. How can we move up without a 20% increase in enrollment. Our numbers went from 330 to 367.

After seeing Peabody in action Friday night I think this maybe the best team I've ever seen come out of Trenton. I didn't see many weaknesses. Man that big running back is real.

Man you think I wouldn't be on Huntingdon just as bad if we had played a game like that. I'm just commenting on a game I observed. I don't comment on teams I haven't seen. I've always thought that when you walk onto that football field you better be ready to play. Huntingdon always gets a teams best game. Everybody hates us except our fans and that's the way we like it.

Bingo is about the only thing y'all could have beaten Peabody in Friday night. I played in 3 losses in my high school career worst being 14-6. I still remember the 6 o'clock Saturday practices after those loses. Brutal! There's nothing wrong with losing. Peabody is a better team than Trinity. But there is no excuse for quiting which is what the Lions did Friday night.

I love Trinity but there's no excuse for a performance like that. If my Mustangs had played that lackluster the fans would have given it to them on the sidelines big time. Trinity fans just kept their mouths shut and took it. I hate losing and playing like Trinity did Friday night is unacceptable.

I just watched the game. Don't know or care what's going on behind the scenes. Hope Yalls problems aren't health related. Other than that it was one of the ugliest games I've seen in some time. Y'all play like that Thursday night and Lake Co gonna clock you!

Trinity was ready to play it was senior night. The Lions problem was that Peabody was ready to play. Trinity is well coached but outmanned big time against a extremely talented team like Peabody. #7 for Trinity is fast but needs to learn to run north and south instead of east and west. I like Huntingdons # 7 better. He knows how to run the football.

It's hard to talk football ( x's & o's, strengths & weaknesses on here for all the smack talk. If both teams can play as well as their fans talk smack it ought to be a heck of a game. I don't know what Cornersville does well nobody seems to want to talk football. Same with the Mustangs. We need to talk the game ang let the players do the smacking on the field!

#1 subject in Huntingdon is football. We don't worry about those secondary subjects!
