Is it at Oneida or Hampton? I’m in upper East TN so if it’s in Hampton , most likely will be there. If not, I’ll have to choose between Greeneville and Betsy or Cloudland and coalfield .

All I said was that SG receivers could be the difference and they weren’t. Oneida did whatever they wanted to...I am in no way, shape, or form a fan of SG. I was at Oneida and Hampton last year and sat on oneidas side. Big fan of Tony and what he did there and always enjoy how physical the Indians play. The other SG supporters are the ones that talked the trash.

Yepp just got home from greeneville game....talk about boring. Oneida played a heck of a game. Really impressed with Oneidas execution on offense tonight. Honestly it felt good seeing SG get smacked in the mouth. The two best overall teams in region 1 & 2 are Oneida and Hampton and that’s evident now. Should be a great game next week. Wish it was at Hampton because I’d likely be in attendance .

They scrimmaged greeneville earlier this week and looked pretty decent. I know greeneville was missing several football players but NG still looked pretty good especially with the new kids playing.

Seeing both Coalfield and Cloudland in person , I give the edge to Coalfield in the skill positions and Cloudland the edge upfront. The game being at Cloudland gives the Highlander’s a boost. However, coalfield could definitely beat them. Could be one of the best games in all classifications if it happens.

And that’s why I believe SG receivers will be the difference in this game. Probably best group of wr’s they’ve ever had out there.

After talking to him at end of this week, he sounded extremely confident that he would be playing Friday against midway.

Seth Birchfield is a Mr Football Semifinalist....great honor for a really good player.

It was 38-0 before NG took their starters out. Not sure where the competing happened, RBS had negative yardage rushing.

Their QB is a really good player. They go as he does. They have some good receivers with Blankenship being their best. They run an “air raid” style of offense so your secondary will have a pretty good test. I think Betsy’s physical nature will help them get a first round win. They’ll have a hard time stopping your QB run game. Expect a tough game for a while though

NG girls sports are fixing to take a huge hit...boys on the other hand is going to be pretty solid for awhile.

Is this a game worth going to see ?

Not many good games to go to this week in East Tennessee so thinking about making the trip to mountain heritage v. Mitchell....do not know much about either team, but records and common opponents make it seem like it could be a good game. Any info would be appreciated, trying to decide to go or not.

Claiborne is awful. They are struggling to find an identity on offense and struggle stopping anything on defense. I foresee a lot of offense from Unaka and just enough defense to get them a win. I will go 34 - 20 Unaka

Their WR's are much better this year. Their RB and OL are not near as good as last year. They have struggled running the ball so far and have relied on Myers to scramble around and run or throw. I think Hampton should have their way upfront with them.

NG held WG to 17 yards in the first half and about 150 for the game. 87 of those yards came on one play. The game was much closer than the 27-0 score. So I believe Cloudland will roll especially at home.
