Yepp UW98 is telling the truth...they think she may be back in time for tournaments but I do not foresee that happening. She has had it pretty rough recently with the home life and everything so hopefully everything gets worked out.

Personally, I think NG will be better next year due to having more speed on the floor. The Sanders girl will make a big jump this summer a long with Wagner. If Anderson keeps improving and the guard play is how it should be, they could make another big run especially with 4 classes.

Nothing against other single A teams in East Tennessee, but I do not see anyone beating North Greene in Single A until they reach the state tournament. So that would be from Knoxville on up to Bristol. Seems the Single A talent is way down from what it has been in this area.

Positive single A conference is Unaka Cloudland Jellico Hancock Cosby and NG 2A conference is Hampton, south Greene, happy valley, Cumberland gap.... now in basketball and baseball they are in single A but they’re like the biggest single A school according to their numbers at like 385 lol I’ve always thought they had more than that but a lot of schools enrollment numbers are lower now (who knows if valid or not)

Just seen where longtime coach John Dyer will be the head basketball coach at West Ridge. Definitely Did not see this coming

Does MTCS play in the private or public division?

North Greene out of upper East TN will be really tough once the basketball kids get into baseball mode. Two new transfers from a Class AAA program will help them reach the state tournament. They have 5 quality arms which is a major advantage in any division let alone Single A.

How bad will moving to AAA hurt their chances of a repeat?

They had their chances. Missed way to many easy shots, Schultz started to play like normal in second half but it will be a little to late unfortunately.

NG settling for to many three pointers....missing way to many layups also. Strong is really good but everyone else is mediocre at best. Not sure why NG isn’t posting Schultz or Loftis up on the post.

Should be a fun game to watch. I bet NG mixes it up on defense. I’m sure Playing against the Meredith kid from university and the Johnson kid from Cosby will help them decide what they want to do. However, Clay co is very well coached and scrappy. Can’t wait!
