With the rise in participation, TNUSA Wrestling has got to get real venues for the Iron Man tournament and State tournament, they are obviously making a a lot of money at 30 bucks a pop per kid and more than that for the Iron Man. If you want the numbers to keep growing grow the venue. I hear a lot of parents complaining yesterday about no space and how long it lasted.

You have to imagine in the days we are in with title 9 the boys and girls will have a equal number of weight classes. Also all you guys that get on here posting about how wrestling is so watered down should be on here pushing for 12 weight classes.

Following an illegal move the wrestler gets 2 minutes of recovery time, and if a head neck or cervical injury is suspected the wrestler gets 5 minutes for a medical professional to look at them.

I agree with you, the problem for these teams is the only thing they get out of placing 3rd or 4th is seeding for next year, there isn't even a plaque involved which is absolutely ridiculous on the part of the TSSAA, Wilson Central knows this all too well, as many times as they have been 3rd. Congratulations to DB on showing everyone they are legit it's just unfortunate the TSSAA doesn't care.

I agree with you that's what makes duals so fun and keeps you up at night playing the what if game. it was a great dual to watch and my hat is off to DB all of those boys showed fight and kept them in it as a team!

In my eyes that decision should have been predetermined before the match, DB heavyweight was always going to get pinned, and the best Crowder could do was get a decision against Todd but that was a toss up. The best chance to get points out of those 2 weight classes was to bump Crowder up.

If DB would have bumped Crowder to 285 they probably would have won the match even with the injury default.

With DB having kids signed up for beast of the east my guess is you will not see Jakob or Max at the Bradley tournament.

I think Tennessee has been blessed with some super athletic heavyweights in years past, I think back to Patrick Benson, then Bruno Reagan, Boykin, Sammy Evans, Kramer, Coffey and then last year we had Howard and Davis. I don't see any heavyweight in the state this year nearly as dominant as those guys, but I could be wrong.
