Not a coach but a friend of mine left a Knox County coaching job to coach at Clinton because he said they paid much better.

Not a question about enrollment but about one of the schools. I know Steven Childs and l had to be in the area where the new Eagleton school was so l was driving around to find it. Just to see there facility. I was in the area where old Everett high School was and there pops up a very nice turf field. Who plays on that field. I eventually made it to Eagleton and saw their field. It was very nice. I hope Eagleton becomes successful. Steven is a fine young man.

I don't have a 5* account. I did look at Max Preps stats and the only players/stay leaders l have seen mentioned in this thread are the QB from Sevier Co. and the WR from Clinton. No BHS, Powell,or Maryville players in the top state leaders. There was an Oakland RB mentioned way down the line in rushing stats. Maybe some teams don't report stats to Max Preps.

Where are the statistics listed for these players so some comparisons can be made. I read an article about the leading candidates for others awards. Only one of these players you mentioned are named in the article. I would just like to compare their performance on the field

I have heard for multiple people that it got very chippy between Coach Lane and Coach Friday night? One person even mentioned security had to get involved. Just asking for a friend.

I don't need to click on anything Pal, your statistics don't mean squat when you are talking about the football team. Gen pop don't tell the story.

On the BHS Football team compared to what last year's diversity? You have no idea what you are talking about. Post you data. You can't because you would be proven wrong if you did. Anybody watching DCM through the years knows that the diversity has changed since Coach Jones has been at BHS. Just look at the entourage in the EZ and behind the East sideline.

If Knox County is not going to do anything about it then TSSAA is not going to do anything about it. Knox County Schools, Central Office/School Board created this problem. It could happen at any Knox County school but the principal at BHS, Debbie Saylers listened to some parents and boosters club people and decided to hire Coach Jones and his Flying Circus. Brian Brown knows what is going on. Superintendent of Knox County Schools knows what is going on. They could call TSSAA and get the ball rolling. But BHS is 3-3 and they might go anywhere between 5-5, 6-4, or 7-3. They aren't going to win a state championship and get the rest of the state football powers upset. Coach Jones has already had to fire an assistant Coach for cussing out a player, or was he told to fire him by Administration. Could you imagine the cussing that some got after this Maryville gut stomping/Tennessee dog whooping went down. Now the BHS coaches know they have to watch their back on the language because someone is watching them. If things keep going down hill and more parents/boosters get mad at Coach Jones for not producing a state championship that was promised after he got all his players in then the problem will take care of itself. Some people involved might gat a slap on the wrist and be reassigned with in the school system but everything will hopefully go back to normal. Knox County Schools will pat themselves on the back for making BHS and West Knoxville more diverse, equitable, and inclusive. All Principal Saylers was doing was making a DEI hire by bringing in Coach Jones and his Flying Circus.

I don't think it has anything to do with the QB that is hurt. I think it is something that happened that didn't involve the QB.

Webb school of Knoxville won multiple State Championships running the Wing -T. Cleveland also won multiple State championships running the Wing -T.

School choice in areas other than athletics is just window dressing. It's like having to move to the back of the bus. Athletics drives all of this transfer/school choice talk and football takes up most of the front seats. When the band has a concert of drama has a play it doesn't get any TV coverage except for when l think Packer had a marching band competition one time. And when the band director or the head of the math/computer department gets fired it's not on the TV news or on line media. Football is out of control in Knoxville and no one is pumping the breaks or has their foot over the break pedal. It to the floorboard with the gas.

Wait a second. Everybody recruits, then if they ain't. Are you talking out of both sides of your mouth or splitting hairs? It can't be both. Either you are actively recruiting or your not. Or is it your recruiting but not being successful at it? Just make us Coach Ters a graph or chart and clear up these muddy recruiting waters. Recruiting-BHS, Catholic, Powell,etc Recruiting but not getting any players to commit-???????? Not recruiting and getting a new coach-????

I don't think DFL is on the Coaching Staff. Hang arounder at best, maybe a fence leaner!
