Yes you are right. That was the first time we went to state in 91. Lost by 1 to Halls, and we lost to Franklin Road 20-8 i believe in the state game

MAHS is a solid team. They have a good coach. We played them 2 years in a row in the first round in 18 and 19. We ended up running away with it but the first half they came in with a good game plan. Idk if they still have that receiver that was getting D1 looks at wideout but I’m sure they have athletes

Thanks and I thought region games were different than regular games. I understand both of the arguments maybe that we would need to play LC vice versa, but would that other school do the same for you? Just gotta look at it that way

I hope we play the Stangs, just now seeing where all the posts about us and Dyersburg and it’s very messy. This Covid situation is rough and causes a lot of bad looks all around and we are seeing it more this year in HS football

Just heard we dropped Dyersburg to play LC which was off this Friday for Covid. Will there be a chance Huntingdon reschedules Camden for our scheduled game against yall since it’s a region game or will they pull a Halls and forfeit all together?

100% agree. Word was last year Liberty tried their best to play the covid game at the last minute, that game wasn't a big deal. Halls which was a region opponent did play the covid game and when it was time to try and remake the game their coach tried to not play it.

I was meaning more of the passing game. Warbritton was a stud no doubt on both sides of the ball. It wouldn’t be fair to compare Simpson because he doesn’t run the wing t like Warbritton did. Huntingdon has my respect. In my opinion, I have Westview being the team that represents the West just the fact I haven’t seen Huntingdon play yet, but Huntingdon is right there with them. Looking forward to coming up and seeing the new facilities later on in the season. I’m sure it will be another great game

I’ve only seen 2 other real great passing attacks in small football Dresden with the Winn kid. TCA with Kyle Akin. Simpson reminds me a little more of Akin of how he gets it out quick and is just a good field manager.
